For what it's worth, here's a chapter from Irv Muchnick's book "Wrestling Babylon" outlining the Snuka deal from 1983... Snuka

Hogan was scrubbed from the online HoF before his story even broke. Snuka is still live...for now. Well Snuka is still innocent in the eyes of the law. Well, to be fair, Hogan didn't break the law either.

Since the 3 Hour RAWs started, I've always thought they should have a 15 minute Halftime, of sorts. Basically, do the Renee Young round table thing recapping the 1st hour and a half. They can go over the rest of the show highlighting the upcoming matches and segments. Then, "restart" the show. It would be a nice way to break up the grind of the 3 hour show.
Maybe this way they would stop with the instant replay deal they do immediately after it happens...then again after the commercial...then again 2 more times before the end of the night.

"Well, speaking of gibberish, Bubber went over and got him a bicycle. I don’t know where the kid is that was a’riding it but he ain’t on it when he brought it to the ring." "He's got a bi-thickle!" It's just so random that it makes me chuckle every time.

Kayfabe-wise, Trips was marking over the idea of Undertaker vs. Brock too much to care about the "test" anymore. Plus, Seth walked out of Battleground with the title... he didn't beat Brock. But he also didn't lose to Brock. The match is, officially, a no-contest. Didn't Brock win via DQ? At least, that's what was "officially" announced on RAW via Lillian.

Matt Hardy post Lita. Dude was so over. He had everyone believing his whole angle was a shoot with Edge. It was great TV. Then...The Promo. As much as everyone shits all over "car crash" (and rightly so), he was still salvagable at that point. It was Byte This that killed him. Watch anything on the Network that covers Matt/Edge and it makes it clear. Lita just absolutely shit all over him. She tore apart all of his impotent rage and exposed him as the salty, bitter, clingy jealous dude who just can't get over hit, or over his own self-righteousness. Except no one watched "Byte This". Everyone saw his terrible promo on RAW, which is what absolutely killed any momentum he had going.

Which is even more confusing with someone like Dolph Ziggler wants a shot at the NXT Championship.
That's the equivalent to a former Cy Young Pitcher wanting to go pitch in the AAA championship game.

If they didn't just do a Dusty Finish with Ambrose and Rollins, I'd have them do it with Cody and the US Title.

It just reminds me of when Darren Young "came out" on TMZ. People were talking about him, mostly in a positive light. He was news!
Then, he was just held off of TV. Why not promote these guys when Mainstream Media puts them in a positive light? (I mean "promote" as in put on TV, not necessarily "promote" to a main event)

Don't kid yourself, the E:60 program wasn't some big ratings hit, so not a lot of people will care for Rose any more than before. Big ratings hit? The people who watched it are WWE fans. The fans that will actually care for the character. And, if the casual or non-fan watched E:60, I would assume they would root for that character. I mean, who watches that doc and doesn't want to get behind that guy?

One thing nearly everyone who watched the E:60 WWE doc can agree on is that the story of Ray Leppan (Leo Kruger, Adam Rose)is an excellent one. More people actually care about this man more from that 1 show than they have in his entire WWE career. His story is real, his miracle child, it's all just so heart-warming and easy to get behind.
And...a week later, he's not even on RAW.
So, did the 'E do this to just bury him? Or, is the Adam Rose character basically dead and they are leaving him off of TV for a "reset"?

It's a reference to their efforts to prevent Lesnar from working in wrestling after he left WWE And yes I have read the quote. However WWE's lawyers can be challenged. Just because they make an argument, doesn't mean it's indisputable. Yeah I get that this can be challenged, that's how the legal system works. I'm more finding it amusing how everyone is getting worked up over something that WWE has every right to do. Whether they win or lose is irrelevant. They are within their legal right to do this. It's a business. I'm curious how many people on FAN have ever run a business where they own intellectual property. It's a very one-sided freakout on this forum. Completely agree. There are Trademarks and Intellectual Property that the 'E owns. Legally, you shouldn't be able to make money off of their Trademarks without their permission. It's very simple. I would assume Austin would (rightfully) be going after WWE if they were selling BSR Shirts without his permission.
