So I figured I'd chime in why it's ok for Vince to say the N word and not Hulk... The key is context. Besides the fact Vince was saying it as a character, where as Hogan was not. There is also the context in which they were using the word. So in Vince's use he was using it to mean friend/homie/partner/ect. So you could replace the n word with any of those other words and it becomes not even a slight bit controversial. When Hogan said it he meant "black people." So when he says "f-ing N words" you could replace it with black people, and it's still an awful statement. I think it's more like when Vince did it, it wasn't serious. The joke was that it was not cool for him to say it but he's a big, rich idiot that doesn't know better. You can argue semantics with the "a" or the "er" at the end, but the fact of the matter is that saying the n-word doesn't just automatically tarnish your soul and turn you into a racist monster. It's all about intentions.

I've been to 4 different shows in the Georgia Dome (Nitro in 1998, RAW in 1999 and 2000 and Wrestlemania 27), the audio was basically unintelligible every time. To be fair, I was in the nosebleeds for all of these shows so maybe it's normal. Still, it lead to a lot of confusion. Even the music suffered from a bad reverb, drum heavy songs were the worst. The Rock's theme sounded ridiculous.
Actually, now that I think about it, I was one section below the top when I went to RAW in 2000, and the audio wasn't a problem that time. I distinctly remember following the show-long angle building to HHH/Chyna vs Stone Cold and JR. HHH cut a promo near the beginning of the show, with his theme still playing, where he said "shit" (I think he said, "this is bullshit!"). When I watched the tape after I got home, I noticed that it was bleeped out.

One time, things were getting hot and heavy with a chick and she was like "put it in my c***". I couldn't stop laughing. Even after I obliged.

I will say this. As talented as the NXT ladies are, now that they're on the main roster, I find myself ignoring them. Years of WWE's terrible booking of the divas has conditioned me to use their match as the bathroom break or to simply skip past it. I found myself doing this during Battleground and had to stop and ask myself why I was disinterested in a match despite being a fan of the participants.
I have nothing against women's wrestling when it's done well like it has been in NXT, I actually really like it. There is something really endearing about seeing beautiful women fully grasp the intricacies of pro wrestling and do it just as well as their male counterparts.

Exactly this. It could be your only chance to see those guys. Though my argument is somewhat weakened by the new knowledge that Liger will be at the NXT show. Even though Liger is not the Liger of 1991, it would be special to see him live. Still, I think I'd rather see Okada and Nakamura live. And Kushida, but especially Okada and Nakamura. Especially Nakamura! Has he worked in America before? It seems like a big deal to me. I'm not familiar with Kushida. I like Okada but I don't really get the hype about him. I don't follow Puro like I used to so I've missed a lot of stuff. Liger would be a treat to see but I can't recall much of his work in the US being on the same level as his stuff in NJPW in the 90's. I'm sure he can still have a good match, but it probably won't be anything I haven't seen before.

Honestly? I'd go to NXT, but I am kind of a big Jushin Liger fan and would jump at the chance to see him. This too, now that you mention it. Still, you can catch NXT on the network afterwards (or during if you're feeling ridiculous). I'd go with ROH but it doesn't matter because I can't go to either, living in Georgia and all.

If I was able to go to one live, I'd pick ROH for Okada, Nakamura, and Kushida. You can easily watch the NXT special when you get back or the next day. Exactly this. It could be your only chance to see those guys.

Which is why I believe William Regal is the force behind NXT more than HHH. All 3 of HHH's guys flopped. Regal had a hand in Cesaro signing, and was scouting PWG and other indies, so one would assume he had a hand in Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and possibly others. Plus he's gone to bat for Bryan from day 1. He also has Japan and UK connections, so it's no big leap to figure he had a hand in Balor & Neville. Anyway back to the topic- Sean O'Haire seemed destined for stardom- great look, athletic, taped promos were excellent. Then he flubbed it live and was gone in under a year. Burchill too. Freakishly talented athlete, again a great look, intimidating....Just never did anything. Also HBK vs Eddie in 2002-04. Both on the roster at the top of their game, near the top of the card...but on different brands, and never even crossed paths in a Rumble or inter-brand match. To be fair to Burchill, he DID have something interesting going with the pirate gimmick.... And then Vince nixed it because he didn't understand the Pirates of the Caribbean connection, and it was all downhill from there. I never liked that gimmick at all. I mean, yea he kinda looked like Johnny Depp but, meh. I always saw it as a rib or something.

As a whole- Triple H's first three big 2011 signings. In one fell swoop, he got the best luchador in Mexico in Mistico, he got the best gaijin monster in Japan in Giant Bernard, and he got the most popular women's wrestler in the world in Awesome Kong- and all three "can't miss" prospects missed badly. At least Albert is still around and is really important behind the scenes in NXT, but yea. I expected him to avoid signings like that going forward so I'm glad they didn't ruin it. I still wonder what the full story was with Kong.

This might be my favorite Botchamania yet and I've seen them all at least once. You sir have seen a lot of fat guys in jeans fall down! Also, lots of sturdy tables. I will buy all my future tables from Japan.

Every time they do this, we get irritated and we call Vince out of touch but I usually end up preferring the new name once I get used to it. They're more recognizable and usually sound cooler without the wimpy first names. Besides, I'm tired of stage names sounding like real names. If wrestlers are using stage names, why wouldn't they all try to have cool ones like The Undertaker or Edge? It makes the wrestlers kind of seem weak right from the get go because they let Vince name them.
Wrestler names need to be more like emcee names or band names. CM Punk, The Rock, The Sandman, Samoa Joe, Prince Devitt, Homicide, New Jack, Taz, Sabu, Raven...these are all cool, creative and memorable names. They stand out. When you would read a name like that in PWI, you became interested.
Nobody is going to get too excited by a guy named Wesley Blake or Buddy Murphy, no matter how good they are. KENTA was better than Hideo Itami because of how unique it looks on a show's card.
