...despite the people doing it eventually realizing "wtf are we doing here" and nuking it from orbit before it was finished/released, this got far enough along that it's worth mentioning as the King of this trope: 1992 proposed cartoon, Operation: AliensI will never unsee Sgt. Apone coldcocking an Alien. It's crazy that they made a whole line of figures, including a lot of people who died in Aliens, like Velasquez, Apone, Hudson, etc. The 90s were out of their mind. You guys have no idea.

Her: We're not going to give the baby a wrestling name! We're going to go with a nice, non-wrestling name like...Cassidy! You: Seriously, congrats to all of you, hoping for their good health and good things down the line. <3

Shout-out to the Big Dogs Andrew Everett, Courtney Rush, and Dino Winwood for starting W3, a simmed wrestling show on Twitch using Fire Pro as the base. Really, everyone who has been streaming have been doing great, but they've really gone outside the box with producing a twice-weekly show with storylines, promos, and even "original" characters (everyone in the fed are based on the wrestlers in WCW Vs The World, WCW/nWo World Tour and Revenge, but they've also created their own versions of wrestlers with made up names). I'm really proud of the work they've put into this.

It really is The Darkside of Codymania. Now that he's exorcised his demons, he can go back to the blond hair!

Well, the title of the thread sure did nail it in more ways than one.

Like, I thought they mentioned NJPW a LOT last night, between Jericho and Moxley taking about facing Archer AT WK.
It really makes me wonder if they're making overtures right now, considering everything that's changed in the last week. Meij really might have been the one holding things back.

I only now just read into the story to this, and picked up the detail that he "killed" a gay man for trying to rape him as a child, and now knowing that the story is just one he made up for a wrestling angle (and certainly not because he was lying for attention and then made up an angle to avoid getting into trouble), all I can add is, f*** that asshole piece of shit Marty Jannetty.

CRUEL JAWS (1994) was directed by Bruno Mattei, under the pseudonym William Snyder. Released in some parts of the world as JAWS 5, the film is about how a shark in the area off the coast of Florida threatens an annual regatta. An unscrupulous business man, with the mayor in his back pocket, refuses to cancel the festivities because the town depends on the money of tourists for this annual event. The sheriff and the owner of a struggling marine park argue that the lives lost to the shark are more important than money. So...it's basically JAWS. But with the hardbodies of the workout-obsessed 80s, a Hulk Hogan impersonator in an important role, and some of the worst dialogue you've ever heard (a pick-up line: "I'm in charge of pussy around here, and I'm here to check your credentials"). There's also unauthorized reuse of footage from the JAWS franchise, and even ripped off music from STAR WARS showing up. I don't know how this finally got a DVD/Blu-Ray release, since Universal was never happy with its existence, but Severin Films came through with two cuts of it (I watched "The Snyder Cut", obviously titled as a joke based on Mattei's alter ego). This flick is ridiculous as hell. I had a real good time with it. Get some buddies together and riff this thing! Cruel Jaws still stands as one of my favorite Steve Martin routines.

Wait, they're presenting this as a MMA fighter vs Pro Wrestler story...and the Pro Wrestler is the antagonist? So, we're obviously going to go the usual trope of "Pro wrestlers really can't hang with MMA fighters" again? Ugh.
Also, I guess this explains why Mox is now so invested in bringing an MMA style to his matches.

So, no one is gonna say that the belt in the thumbnail is just the WWE Undisputed Title with different labeling?
And also, Gina Gershon. <3

I mean Watchmen, Legends of the Guardians and Sucker Punch all bombed and in response WB saw fit to hand him to keys to the comic book universe. And in return, they got Man Of Steel and BvS that massively underperformed as well as a cut of Justice League that was declared "unwatchable". And they're STILL throwing him money. No idea how he or his wife get any work. Just checked her imdb thinking maybe she was his meal ticket, and her only credits are Zack's garbage. Somehow this couple have conned their way up the Hollywood ranks together. It's wild to think that he somehow rode the momentum of Dawn Of The Dead and a completely toxic fanbase to getting money thrown at him time after time. It's truly an American Success Story. That's not a compliment.

For all the comparisons to All Stars style wise, when he mentioned the 360 Fire Pro avatar game, it all clicked. That's way more the feel of this. Big ol oof.

I'm honestly happy that Devolver stumbled into Fall Guys, they're a great studio, and their dev fest this year was a treat, especially the introduction of Carrion and the Devolverland Expo game that they released alongside of the Fest.

Also while they throw money at this AT&T are cutting costs in literally every department... From DC to Adult Swim... Great, now I can be salty at these assholes for helping to get Venture Bros canceled on top of everything else.
