Did you skim over the part where the officer fired six shots at an unarmed teenager for not turning off the engine? How do you know the officer knew that the guy with a criminal past, aiming a stolen vehicle at you and revving the engine was "unarmed" (ignoring the whole aiming a car and revving the engine thing by the way)? The father states he wasn't armed, and if he was, that would have been the officer's reason for firing the shots. Except it wasn't. The kid's only real crime was fleeing from the police and ignoring their orders to turn off the engine, and while he was inadvertently putting others in danger with his driving, it does not seem like it was his intent to hurt people with the truck. The kid's a giant dumbass for sure, but that does not justify using deadly force. I'm actually with SuperSweet on this. Couldn't they have just shot the tires as a last resort? Don't they have a method to handle this kind of situation other than ramming the vehicle, or in this case, firing shots into the truck?

If he had obeyed orders he would be alive, I'm sorry for his family's loss but The Officer is not to blame. Did you skim over the part where the officer fired six shots at an unarmed teenager for not turning off the engine?

I wholeheartedly approve of this thread. If this thread came with nachos I'd never leave. So that's where my nachos went. You said I ate them while I was sleep-eating! ...oh right, boobs. I approve of Kat Dennings and her glorious chest pillows. AND DEM NUDES!

Cool. Any certain Pokemon you want in return? I mean, I haven't challenged the 2nd Gym yet (been training my team and killing time with Wonder Trade) so my options are limited. I can offer a Scyther, Eevee, Lunatone, or any other Pokemon I can get at that point in Y. Scyther is good for me. And for the record, your FS is Fire with a Magmar and a Pyroar. I'm online now. And Fire with Magmar and Pyroar? That sounds good to me.

Reaching pretty far with this one, but I'll ask anyways; to any of you generous breeders out there, or anyone in general, do you by any chance have a Japanese, Skrelp w/Adaptability? Why Japanese? Because I find the idea of having a poisonous seadragon imported from Japan, rad as shit. If it doesn't have Adaptability, then that's fine too. Though Poison Point is the next best thing. Honestly, I'll take any Skrelp at this point, but I'm hoping to get my special one preferably. Just acquired one with Poison Point through the GTS. 3DS friend code is under the avatar. Cool. So the Friend Safari is only available until after I beat the Elite Four? I thought that limitation was only for the 3rd Pokemon? No,you can only access the place after the E4, you can access the zone with someone's friend code any time after that, but the 3rd poke shows up after that friend defeats the elite 4. Oh, okay, glad that's cleared up. Thanks for the help. My FC: 2723 - 9793 - 0692 I'll start adding you guys when I get the chance later.

Okay, this is going to sound extremely noobish, but can anyone explain to me how this Friend Code/Friend Safari stuff works? I've only owned a DS Lite, and I never used any of those features or even the online, aside from the Darkrai event in Platinum. Basically, I don't know my FC or how to add people and all that good stuff. After you defeat the elite four, you can access a new place called Kiloude City. In it is a place called the friend safari, where you can catch three different pokemon. The typing, and the pokemon you get in the area are determined by different friend codes (for example, if you chose my friend code, you'd get the steel pokemon Klink, Excadrill, and Magneton). A plus to friend safari is that apparently all pokemon inside have at least 2 perfect IV's, and usually have their hidden ability. More on it, and the pokemon you can get within here www.serebii.net/xy/friendsafari.shtmlAnd here's how to make a friend code. Tap the smiley face box on the main menu of your 3DS. From there you can set up your profile (I made a mii first beforehand, so I don't know if you have to do that first). After you're finished, you'll see your profile, as well as your friend code. From there, you can also register other people's codes, and if they register yours as well, you'll officially have a listed friend. So the Friend Safari is only available until after I beat the Elite Four? I thought that limitation was only for the 3rd Pokemon?

I believe it was Rican who predicted Triple H becoming COO and "relieving Vince of his duties" a couple of weeks before it happened with no indication of it being Triple H prior. EDIT: Yup, it was him. It's even in his personal title, ha ha.

I tuned in during the middle of the match and thought Evan Bourne had returned. Me too. Especially when he starting throwing the peace sign much like Bourne did after he won. It's like they're trying to replace him without anyone noticing.

Just completed everything in Cyllage City (loving this music) except the Gym. Current team:
Pancham (20) Inkay (21) Wartortle (21) Honedge (20) Quilladin (21) Amaura (20)
Holding on to Amaura until I get the last Pokemon that I want to complete my official team. Speaking of which, when do I get my Skrelp?

Okay, so I got the game Saturday and I've been playing it since. Very fun and almost addicting! What a vast improvement from the last generation. I steamrolled past the first gym and am making my way to Cyllage City (have to make a little detour first). Here's my current team:
Chespin Torchic Vivillon Fletchling Squirtle Pikachu
All level 15. Though, this lineup will change very soon as I have to get both Pancham and Honedge. Definitely keeping Chespin, Fletchling, and Squirtle. I'll be swapping out Torchic for Honedge, and most likely Pikachu for Pancham.
Also, after reading all of the negative stuff about Exp. Share, I turned it off as soon as I got it.
