Here is my issue with Cam's actions: All season he'd tear apart opposing fans, dance all over the field and was cocky as all hell. When you win, you earn some of that and his reposnse was simple and correct, don't like it, stop him which is what Denver did. Instead of showing the grace and class that comes with being an MVP and leader, that comes with downside of winning like he did, he literally fell on the ground in a fit and later walked off his required media duties in a huff. His own team showed how it should be done, Josh Norman was bawling on the sidelines but did the press stuff, Thomas Davis was majorly injured, spent reportedly 10 minutes being consoled by his coach but didn't hide from questions outside the press stuff, and their coaches stood there and took the questions and blame. Cam looks like an entitled brat that wanted to rage quit a game but could not. To have the season he did and end it with a childish fit on the biggest stage is more than sad, IMO. Exactly, that was his chance to show that he truly was above everyone else. Eating Crow sometimes makes people respect you. When the crow is on your plate and you pout you lose respect.

I believe that this makes Peyton Manning the first QB to start and win the Super Bowl with two different teams. Start, no. Craig Morton. Win, yes.

I agree. They should get Arky back yearly and play Thanksgiving. But Honestly, NCAA has yeilded Thanksgiving to the NFL when the NFL started Thursday Night football that day. Which is utter bool sheet. College football owned Thursday. Once upon a time the NFL would run one or two Thursday games a year. The NCAA would see there games and find and replace an intriguing match up with a one situated between disgust and indifference. Then the NFL just started running it like crazy and instead of battling back, the colleges chose to cut and run. If you put Miami vs Clemson on Thursday noght or Bama vs FSU, they not only beat the NFL game, it would be a slaughter. Texas on Thanksgvng....as much as I am for their incomplete ruin, Texas should be playing a rivalry game on thanksgiving. They are a draw period. TCU wouldn't mind neither would Tech. Play em on turkey day TU Thing is only 15 times in the last 35 years has Texas played on Thanksgiving day. Only 5 times in the 70s. last decade where they played every Thanksgiving was the 60s

Texas will no longer play on Thanksgiving FOX Sports' Bruce Feldman reports that Cal will hire former Texas A&M OC Jake Spavital. On Texas: I can promise you one game that will absolutely draw. Just sayin On Spav to Cal: A: are you high? B: who the @&$/ is your AD and does he watch football? C: tag you're it D: #firespav. Cal fans get used to typing that last one and I am sorry for what you are about to go thru. There was so much promise there... I agree. They should get Arky back yearly and play Thanksgiving. But Honestly, NCAA has yeilded Thanksgiving to the NFL when the NFL started Thursday Night football that day.

Drillbit I will admit I am out of my depth in this conversation now. My degree is from Minot State in ND, not any Texas institution. Aside from the growth of the community college and university in my home town, I simply have not played much if any attention to Texas higher education. Before I followed your link I had never heard UT intended on expansion into Houston. My comments are based upon my limited knowledge of the University of Texas and of UH. I do know a large market when I see one and Houston most certainly is that. They already support UH, Wharton community college, the Univesrity of Houston-Victoria (despite the name it is NOT in the UH system), Prarieview A&M, San Jacinto and I think we can keep going. But UH is the one with the grad work and a medical center. Texas expanding there means they go after the bell cow stuff like research and medical. San Jacinto or UHV-Sugarland aren't going to swipe that kind of project or attention from UH. UT however most certainly can I think the only other 4 year schools in Houston Proper are Either Religious (ST Thomas,HBU), Private(Rice), HBCU (Texas Southern) or a UH Spin off (UH-Clear Lake) but that is not counting Baylor college of Medince, UTMB down in Galveston etc. Just pure 4 years. One could make the argument its the only major city without a UT campus, but it also the only major city in the state where the top school is a Public City school that is not a branch of Teas (Dallas- SMU, SA-UTSA- El Paso-UTEP, Fort Worth-TCU)

Done and done. That had nothing to do with football, but I am sympathetic to UH's situation. Is that sort of sour grapes to petition UT expansion? Thru a certain lens yes. But UT's endowment and literal world wide footprint mean they don't need Houston as a location. The projects and research potentially lost to Texas literally down the street could have untold affects on UH and its ability to recruit students or to retain them for post graduate work if UT with its money and flash, sit right down the road. I'm with UH on this one The whole PUF thing really needs to be reworked. Yea when it was started UT/A&M were the only major publics but now both UH and Tech are Tier 1 reserch schools. To deny those two access and then use the money against them is odd. Hell, I am shocked more A&M people are not up in arms since its a 2/3 to 1/3 split between the two, and any retooling would put them on equal ground with UT.

Franklin just hadn't popped at Penn st. He is a master motivator and recruiter but he just isn't winning. Tough division though. Michigan...I have no affiliation and quite in fact, I hated them as a kid. But I am really really happy for them. Harbaugh is great for them and college football. A good Michigan football team is better for all of us. Ok, Texas looks like they are getting their schitt together. Fair warning, I've been nice for A couple of yrs. They get good again, it's greenlight on trash talking again. This may be the last nice thing I say for A long time about Texas: best of luck. Uncle Charlie has the ability and the will. They can win lots of games with him if they stick with him. If you want to screw with UT sign this petition www.change.org/p/texas-legislature-must-halt-ut-system-s-hostile-houston-expansion

What was his determining factor in this list? It was city size/ being able to support team/big money etc. Thats why while Green Bay is nice, if the NFL were to start today they would not get a team by any standards.
