She is still an active wrestler though and considering the heights of her massive push (as well as pushes to come in the future) it would be kinda tough to leave her out of the top ten. She was given a lot of time on the mic, a lot of character development and was involved in matches of major importance on TV shows and PPV cards as a wrestler/ref/manager etc. For all we know AJ could get released next month, and Kaitlyn could end up becoming the next Trish Stratus. So I don't see the point in putting her on the list just based on what may or may not even happen. And on her present accomplishments, AJ's done next to nothing as a wrestler. No title wins, or even title feuds, and she's been booked as little more than a jobber any time she gets in the ring a competent diva. And I don't really see the importance of being the ref of one midcard match. And anything she's done as a manager, Vickie's done a lot more. I personally wouldn't have AJ anywhere near my list of top 10 divas, as the only time she's been put in a signifigant role was during the scandal with Cena, and that lasted what, a couple of months? That's hardly anything compared to the course of an entire career. Fair enough, I can understand that point of view. So who would be your 10 top of most pushed divas then?

I was trying to focus more on wrestlers and less on valets/personalities (Otherwise Vickie, Stephanie, Sunny etc. would be very high on my list), but I was more aiming towards who was given the most opportunities to succeed both in the ring, on the mic, and character development wise over the course of their entire careers. If that were the case, why is AJ even on the list? She is still an active wrestler though and considering the heights of her massive push (as well as pushes to come in the future) it would be kinda tough to leave her out of the top ten. She was given a lot of time on the mic, a lot of character development and was involved in matches of major importance on TV shows and PPV cards as a wrestler/ref/manager etc.

Sunny is an absolute must on this sort of list. In the early days of super-widespread internet use, she was one of the biggest things around for a bit. Does Stephanie McMahon count? She automatically makes #1, if so. Miss Kitty was pretty over-pushed during her tenure. If there is a bonus slot for special attractions that were pushed hard when they were around but weren't a part of the regular crew - Mae Young and Moolah. Hell, they even gave Moolah the strap again.

Maybe I'm just forgetting some stuff, but I would have put AJ Lee, Mickie James, and Eve all above Melina. I don't remember Melina getting a whole lot of focus on television even when she was champion, whereas AJ was all over the place for a while and still gets a decent amount of time now (though not nearly as much as she was getting). Eve had some very prominent storylines for quite a while as well, plus multiple title reigns. Mickie James had the huge Trish angle and was more popular than Melina imo, and I think she cropped up more often than Melina in random matches and such. I feel like Melina was frequently an afterthought, even when she was champion, and didn't get as much attention outside her split entrance. I also would have ranked Trish at number one. For those who site AJ's domination of coverage on RAW a few months, may have forgotten how Melina did the same on Smackdown during '05-06. Outside of Batista and Taker she was arguably the most featured star on Smackdown when she was just a manager for MNM. She was apart story-lines like: having an affair with Vince (and was confronted by Stephanie and Linda about it), sleeping with Batista before a match and then later accusing him of rape (held a press conference that took up a big chunk of a Smackdown episode), a segment on Saturday Night Main-Event teasing that she could be Vince's daughter, tying up and kidnapping Trish and challenging her to PPV match (when they were on two different brands),etc. That's not including the stuff she did when she was moved to RAW: her friendship and betrayal of Mick Foley (which also involved Vince), the K-Fed fued with Cena, and countless segments she had during her very first women's title reign. After her first injury the company never pushed her that hard again, but she was definitely the "It girl" for bookers prior to that. Mickie, had a great storyline coming out the gate but not much notable (storyline wise) until years later with the feud with McCool. Mickie seemed to be treated like a placeholder more than an air-apparent to Trish (remember her face turn was kinda by accident) and it seemed like the majority of her title reigns were after failed experiment pushes of the flavor of the months like Ashley, Candice, and others. They knew Mickie was a safe bet (due to her popularity) to put the belt on, but they were always trying to find someone to fill her spot (despite her being the most popular baby face diva). AJ had a few months where she was the center of the show, but before and afterwards she was used as an enhancement talent for the majority of her young career. She's had zero title reigns, hell zero title feuds during her WWE tenure. I do believe over time she'll surpass Mickie/Melina in that regard, but I'm taking in account the level of push throughout their entire career, and so far AJ's push has had high peaks but low valleys.

You forgot the unforgetable Kelly Kelly In the bigger picture though, she only had one title reign and spent the first several years of her tenure as a jobber.

When comparing the divas of the past with those of the present, a point that is often brought up is that those in the past were given a lot more opportunities and support for their characters that women of today could only dream of. Thus the later generations were handicapped by default. So with that in mind, let's try and rank the divas based on the level of a push or exposure they were given:
Here's how I rank it in terms of who was given the biggest pushes and the most exposure:
1. Chyna 2. Trish 3. Lita 4. Sable 5. Michell McCool 6. Melina 7. Mickie James 8. AJ Lee 9. Beth Phoenix 10. Eve
How would you rank it and why?

Pretty sure if they had a match for the title, Zack would get his ass kicked. Ryder: Meh, close enough.

Miami over Milwaukee in 4 New York over Boston in 6 Indiana over Atlanta in 5 Chicago over Brooklyn in 6
*Houston over OKC in 7 **LAL over SA in 6 Golden State over Denver in 7 LAC over Memphis 5
*I got feeling Harden is gonna go off and when it comes down to crunch time Westbrook will make some boneheaded decisions that will cost them some games.
**Lakers are on a hot streak going into the playoffs, while the Spurs have been playing at their worst and are pretty banged up. With Parker not playing anywhere near the level he was prior to his injury they lose their main advantage over the Lakers in the back-court. With the Lakers (FINALLY) using their size advantage in the front court lately, that's a winning formula in the playoffs where the game slows down and is played more in a half-court offense. Spurs have a history of looking great in the regular season but falling apart early in the playoffs.

How do you see WWE needlessly breaking up this trio in the future? And if you could write it how should they be broken up?

He has it all except mic skills and is lacking a bit when it comes to in-ring psychology. But he would be a damn good addition to WWE's roster right about now. As long as he keeps his crazy girlfriend far away. I think, in the long run, this is the #1 reason that I'm glad he's gone. Because I got tired of reading his acolytes who will never doubt anything about his moral fortitude whatsoever, and who scapegoat Melina with no willingness to think otherwise. I mean, seriously. Here's the guy who continues to tell everyone that in spite of his inability to talk, he's going to be a successful actor. Despite the fact that he hasn't wrestled with WWE for a couple years, he continues to insist that people refer to him by his ring moniker derived from a drug-abusing, psychologically-disordered dead rock star. Who in spite of residual, long-term neck injuries refuses to hang it up as a wrestler. He's not once defended Melina from any of the bullshit attacks that people have launched and he does not seem to mind that they're all concentrated on her, nor the fact that they've caused her pretty visible distress. Nor does he spend any time at all talking to fans, or taking the trouble to make appearances to thank them. He's much more comfortable shilling his workout video. Say anything unfounded that you want about Melina, but at least she's the one who takes the time to actually spend time with her fans, and seems to care about what others say about her. Look up the video from her most recent appearance where she spends extra time to hang out with a family that went to the signing and missed the cut off time to actually get admitted. When was the last time John did any of that? When was the last time he ever talked to a fan or spent time with them just to talk to them? Someone can say that I'm biased here and that it's interfering with my conclusion, but John was one of my favorite wrestlers, and many times did I defend him on here. And when I had no evidence to support anything contrary to the negative stories about Melina, I believed those, but now that I know they're fabricated, this is no longer true. As much as Melina gets called "crazy" there's never anything that actually makes it up. Whereas John, if you watch the way that he acts, demonstrates recurring signs of Schizoid Personality Disorder and Antisocial Personality Disorder. Let me address some of your points: first, we don't know how these two interact behind closed doors. For all we know Melina could have told him to not get dragged into it and get involved (you'd be surprized how common this is in relationships). Do you really want to see John be like Matt Hardy when someone says something about Reby Sky? Melina herself doesn't really acknowledge each rumor directly (probably because she sees how futile it is to even try, people are gonna believe what they want to) so why should we expect an indirect party to get involved? I have no idea if John is/was a good boyfriend or not to Melina, if he was cheating on her, if he was leaving her out to dry, because at the end of the day it's none of my business.
