Stupid thread. He was lifting what? 2 weeks after surgery? Before his damn stitches were out? Definitely deserves major f***ing props. You misunderstand. I find it hilarious and awesome that John Cena is a Kryptonian/Super Saiyan hybrid. WWE worried about the building of new stars isn't going as quickly as they'd like? Hit the Cena button and ratings return to normal! A heel needs a challenger that can actually get a title off of them? Put out the Cena Signal! SSJ Cena is wonderful. And horrible. And wonderful. We're not too far off from "Johhhn Ceeenaaaa" being the new "One on one with tha undahtakahhhhh!"

Well, someone has to keep the illusion alive. Why?

Possibly, but what it really means is that if you are a fan of the Prime Time Players or the Usos, you should just acknowledge that a tag team title run isn't coming for them anytime soon or likely ever.
Both teams are now filling the role Cryme Tyme filled.

If I breathe underwater, do I get to make this sound?
Otherwise, flight.

Mortal Kombat had Sub Zero, who was pretty sweet.
And I don't like internet memes.

If there's one guy I've never liked in the ring on a microphone or on commentary, it's JBL.
But people got want what they wanted, so...I say choke on it.

I've never liked the talk show segments, as they are all cut-and-paste with whichever talent they decide gets a talk show for that time being, and they all start and end the same. And starting the show with a promo is such a tired archaic trope. How WWE hasn't figured out what to do with their segments beyond "the formula" is beyond me. Quick question: What DO you like? I know you're a big anime fan, learned that much from our podcast days but wrestling wise what DO you like? I don't think I've seen a positive post from you in a wrestling thread ever. Like this isn't even a dig at you, I'm curious. Totally fair question. And justified. I know I give off that vibe. I like any and all things Daniel Bryan and I'm far more emotionally invested in him that I'd like to admit. Santino occasionally, and anytime Scott Sanford gets face time. The only things I actively DISLIKE are Dolph Ziggler and WWE's overall narrative. And my tolerance of crappy wrestling for the lulz is almost zero. And it's a bit tough for me these days in a post CHIKARA-world, but I may have just discovered the indies thanks to something I'll be talking about soon.

He gets a pass because nostalgia and whatnot. {Spoiler}It is kinda silly, but Arn's not as far off from Ole as they think.

Dolph Ziggler. It's as if WWE took Randy Orton and decided to build the developmental factory out of cloning him, and Dolph Ziggler is the best they could come up with.
Everything about him is forced and contrived, and for all his athletic ability, I've never seen a single match of his that made me think he was any more than the Create-A-Wrestler I've always seen him as.
He doesn't even fake having a personality well, so I can't even dislike him for being a tool.

I've made my peace with TNA making Samoa Joe a permanent main-eventer. They won't do it. It will never happen. I've let it go.
At least he's on the PPV.

Gargantia & Valvrave.
Two mech shows. Both highly enjoyable, but for totally different reasons.
