I think Cody does have a decent defense in that he thought (and was maybe even told that) Rock was facing Roman to genuinely challenge him as a competitor. Showing up at the press conference to embrace Reigns and seemingly just taking the spot so their family could have the biggest main event of all time? That's not something worthy of giving up title shot for especially when Rock's done nothing to earn it. If Rock had confronted Roman and said he's here to beat Reigns' ass? Then Cody would look dubious. As is, Rock is the one that comes off as two faced for embracing the Bloodline when before he was wanting to challenge it. Doesn’t make any sense why Cody would really care about Rock and Roman enough to say ‘eh, I’ll just fight Roman some other time even though my whole thing has been to beat the dude at mania and finish my story’ Particularly as any discussion they may have had was never seen on camera before the decision was made. Right, and to play devil’s advocate on the minute chance all this was planned out (it 100% wasn’t, and I don’t believe for a second anyone actually does), if the plan was to muddy things up by involving Rock, there’s easier ways to create conflict without making Cody look so weak in execution. Secondly there’s ways of doing it that also don’t make Reigns feel like an afterthought. As critical as I am about WWE’s abilities to tell cohesive stories, they’re at least better than this if for nothing else protecting the guys they truly get behind.

So Cody willingly gave The Rock the match, then came back and said “nuh-uh, takesies-backsies.” I don’t get how Rock is the bad guy here. It just makes Cody look like feckless and indecisive bitch.

2018 was their most profitable year ever, so while at the time it seemed like a weird decision, in retrospect it was the right one just based on how business moved with keeping Okada on top.

I don't think NOAH is currently the butt-monkey promotion that they were last year. They've booked some interesting things, and seem like they've got some sort of clue on what they're doing. But how long that'll last is anyone's guess.
I don't love Kenoh dropping the belt, but if it was to anyone, I think putting it on Wagner was a bold move, and I have to give them props for it. He's been great for them ever since his National title run, and it's nice to see him get that amount of faith behind him.
It's also nice that the old guys aren't clogging up the main event scenes anymore. That period with Mutoh constantly humbling Kiyomiya was so sad, depressing, and just so retrograde to helping NOAH.
Their junior division is still pretty shit, and every time it looks like they're doing something interesting they veer right back onto the HAYATA status-quo train. They really need to move things away from all the Stinger shit, and just push some new blood into that division; because I don't know how anyone can possibly care about someone randomly betraying their partner when it seemingly happens every other month.
As for Kaito Kiyomiya, I think he should move on. He's too good for how NOAH has treated him, and seeing him work outside of that company only pushes that thought. They did him so dirty.

Just a reminder that this guy still voted to bring Vince back the first time. Something that he has never been questioned during any of his media scrums. Wrestling “journalism,” my ass. No he didn't. He was one of the ones who wanted Vince gone. Correction, voted him into the Executive Chairman position.

Good god!
I guess this may explain why we saw some people come out to publicly defend Vince after the initial allegations came out... Also what the f*** is with this guy and massage table located sexual assault? It's been one of the most consistent factors in all these stories.

2015 is so bad it becomes funny when you separate any personal emotions from it. Everything in that match is bad, I don't think you could accidentally fail so hard at putting together a match. The only other match I think comes close to being as big of a complete trainwreck was the Elimination Chamber where Mark Henry's pod opened early on a botch and everybody froze cause nobody knew what to do.

Tyson was never gonna happen.
I think there's only a two real options, either you add Austin into the Kane/Taker match, which has the downside of dragging that feud even more, or you rocket Rock (HA!) up to Shawn's spot. There's no real great alternatives. Austin/McMahon maybe could have work, but that's also kind of weird do do right at that time.

Hogan's friend - Oh shit, Hulk! That car just rolled!
Hogan - What?! Did you say roll-up, brother? Cause that sort of talk makes me feel real uncomfortable, dude.
Hogan's friend - No, Hulk, seriously; I think the driver's pinned in her car.
Hogan - BROTHER, WHAT DID I JUST SAY?! YOU TRYING TO RIB ME?? ...Wait, did Vince put you up to this? Is he looking to book me for Mania, cause I've got a few ideas that I think could really revolutionise the business.
Hogan's friend - We've got to get them out of there.
Hogan - Tag me in, jack. Hulkamania's ready to make the save.

A big part of Punk's legacy was built upon as him being the a vocal supporter of sticking up for the little guy against corporate stooges. So him going to AEW the "little guy" compared to WWE, and then big leaguing them like he did does damage his legacy, and it's all his fault. None of this is the case if he'd been able to act like an actual adult instead of a petulant child who lashed out at any perceived slight against him. But this is Punk, a terminally unhappy and insecure man, who seemingly has no interest in introspection.
Anyway to sum up, it's just a matter of 'when,' not 'if,' he flames out in this current run. Because it's definitely going to happen again.

I’m like an 8/10. I can make it look nicely presentable, but if you scrutinize too much, you’ll probably see some imperfections.
My mum wraps at a full 10 though, she taught me everything I know… just not everything she knows.
