Or maybe its the 1 hour weekly taped show being built to 5 shows a year where they wrestle faux indy matches and then SURPRISE thats not at all what happens on RAW or SD.

NXT is hardly prep for the main roster, which is the real issue. It doesn't mesh with the "Good HHH, Bad Vince" narrative, but they do different things on the main roster. Its an entirely different setup.

They had both cases last year, as it was a SD show. They don't need the gimmick right now.

He used a chair the other week on Jinder. And tried to do it on Elias after that.

"People sour on Alexa" You realize as a heel, she got the biggest pop of the women in the ladder match and the crowd loved her win and her cash in. Some perspective needs to be had here. She is also the one of them all that has been booked the most consistantly strong, since coming to main roster. Charlotte was in the same match and not nearly as over, and the fans have regularly sided with Becky over her when they face off.

Im completely ok with her being the champion Ronda beats at Summerslam, but also the constant push into the main event is why people sour on Alexa so hard. She's so overbooked that it's nauseating. All they would need to do is book her more like Carmella and have her NOT in a world title feud for a month and maybe people would like her more, see Team LittleBig. It'll probably be more clear after MITB. Rusev does fill a face need with Orton out, and Lana evens up the face/heel numbers on the womens side if she's a face.

As others have said, long matches with quality work rate only mean something if they have a reason for taking place. That's why I couldn't get into the gauntlet match from earlier this year. The match lasted 2 hours, with Rollins wrestling for over an hour straight, but...why? There were no stakes: no titles on the line, no guaranteed entry number for the Elimination Chamber match, nothing. It was just a really long match for the sake of having a really long match. To be fair you can argue the gauntlet kickstarted this whole 'Rollins the workhorse' push. He was kinda stuck tagging with Jordan before that and he had just gotten injured.

Must be one of the longest active runs as a female wrestler in WWE. Pretty sure she is the longest tenured female wrestler in WWE history. Natalya isn't that far behind.

They have latched on longer = better mentality that some fans have. And the women have to deal with added stigma of "short diva matches" from the past so they overcompensate by dragging all their stuff out too.

Also merchandise? her merchandize isn't selling well at all Where do people get actual numbers for this? Its the same with the IIconics newz. Where? They've given her two shirts since Mania so something must be selling on that front, but who knows really.

A scenario that almost happened this year with Carmella, Nattie, and Charlotte. Carmella teased cashing in during a non title Charlotte/Nattie match, and in the confusion, Nattie rolled up Charlotte for the win, but the cash in was never official. However, what if the cash in WAS official, then the third person, who isn't the champ, or the MITB holder, walks out with the title.
When Seth Rollins made the WM match a triple threat, it was already a title match, but shouldn't that same logic apply if you cashed in during any match, even a non-title one? Then essentially you have a third person who gets a free title shot.

Romans not a hypocrite because his entire point is with Lesnars schedule. Thats a title everyone on RAW should be gunning for but they have to wait months to even figure out when its going to be defended and no other title is currently like that. Nobody else on either show has the power to just say "nah I'm not competing for a few months", not even Roman. People missed the forest for the trees because Roman said it but in kayfabe its a perfectly valid point. Anyone else making that criticism I could get behind but Roman himself benefits hugely from favouratism from Vince so it all just rings hollow for me. Plus kayfabe wise what is Roman even moaning for? He should be delighted Brock isn't around every week, every time he steps foot in a ring with Brock he gets his ass kicked. Again, you're too busy thinking about behind the scenes "Roman is the top guy" to think of the point. But thats almost like getting mad at any top star that has feuded with Vince. Even if Brock kicks Romans ass every day, Brock is still on a 'special' schedule that nobody else on the roster seems to be on, and on top of that is carrying the top title of his brand. The real issue is Roman being the only one saying something. Every top guy on RAW now should be going with him. If Brock doesn't defend until Summerslam thats 3 PPVs he skips out on. Why should anyone aiming to be champion be okay with that?

Roman has a point because apparently Brock can skip town for months without defending his belt, and this is okay. Its pretty simple, because no one else seems to be able to do this. Hell, Angle stopped Owens from leaving and made him compete on RAW a few weeks ago. Of all people though Roman being the one to accuse someone of being protected and Vince's Golden boy is absolutely hilarious. Even though he has a valid point about Brock, you can make the exact same criticism of Roman. Everyone knows he's the chosen one even though the fans have rejected him over and over. It makes Roman come off as such a hypocrite. Romans not a hypocrite because his entire point is with Lesnars schedule. LMAO people think they're "living in the bubble" when they got billions for their shows. Not saying this will work, but if thats a bubble I want in on it.

Solid episode. Much better than RAW. My only gripe is that Big Cass is rapidly approaching Local Man territory. You've got wrestlers and matches fans are genuinely interested in, then this dude shows up and everything gets immediately less exciting. Its a bit like Carmella. No matter how hard they try to push her, crowds (even hot crowds like tonight) just don't care, unfortunately.
The thing with Carmella is that its been translating at house shows and in the dark match with Charlotte, where the same crowd was booing the life out of her, but its not quite there on TV.

What is funny about how they ended it was that the PERFECT scenario stared them right in the face to automatically shoot someone right to to the top of the division. because THEY DEBUTED EMBER THE VERY NEXT NIGHT!! All that had to happen is have Asuka cut a not heel but an arrogant promo and have Ember debut and challenge her to a non title match.....think of it in the same way Paige debuted against AJ. It was such an easy layup that even stevie wonder and a def monkey could have done it. This was simply about padding out Charlottes list of forced accomplishments because she is pretty much locked in to face Ronda next year....it did nothing for charlotte IMO she is the same woman and Asuka has become just another woman. But then the same argument can be used for Ember. What does it do for her if Nia is still champion and she's not getting near it anytime soon? She's going to be on RAW wrestling normal matches, sometimes losing, except "hey she beat Asuka on RAW with no build that one time". Its not just the big win that makes someone. There's got to be something afterwards, and if WWE has a long term plan for 2 women then one of those 2 should end Asukas streak.
