Joe Namath was never really a consistently great QB, but it's tough to watch game footage of Namath his last few years in the league. "Broadway Joe", the man behind the most important win in the history of football (and also the biggest upset after guaranteeing the victory) basically had to be wheelchaired out there by 1973. Supposedly he came into the league with bad knees/legs, and they just went out under him as the years went by.
He couldn't run from danger anymore, was completely helpless if the pocket collapsed, and couldn't even protect himself properly when tackled.

How much has Green Bay invested in the defense the past five years? And what have we gotten in return? That's just a failure when it comes to coaching. Yet we'll just ignore James Harrison acting like one all year? This is the same James Harrison who "retired" from football 3 years ago, only to come back 6 months later and sign with the rival Bengals. This isn't a "Fool me once" ordeal, he'd literally be out of the league right now if they never brought him back. No, we don't ignore that James Harrison has acted like a baby in the past. I think the whole joke about him being fined for random crap speaks to his issues with his getting fined for dangerous play. But don't say he erased his legacy with a move to the Patriots when as you said beforehand, he had already signed with the Bengals (an actual division rival) and Steelers fans weren't as angry as they are now. Most Steeler fans only care about their rivalries with the Ravens and Patriots. Browns are just two wins in the win column every year and the Bengals either suck or beat themselves whenever they face Pittsburgh in an important game.

That would be the worst decision Goodell has ever made right? Like even their horrendous choices in the ballgazi fiasco would be nothing compared to the Packer fans who would storm league HQ Man, how fast would Cleveland snatch him up. You misspelled "Jacksonville"

I see that some teams have been complaining to the NFL that the Packers should release Aaron Rodgers, due to the violation of the IR Rules. We'll see how well that goes. That would be the worst decision Goodell has ever made right? Like even their horrendous choices in the ballgazi fiasco would be nothing compared to the Packer fans who would storm league HQ

I can't wait for Bruton to screw up the stadium by installing progressive banking onto the field for no real reason. In all seriousness screw Richardson. Even outside of the harassment and the controversy surrounding the social issues, he's one of the worst owners in the league and doesn't get the shit for it guys like Snyder and Brown get. He chastised the players for wanting too much money and that the owners couldn't afford to pay them what they wanted during the lockout. Nevermind that the Panthers have grossed hundreds of millions of dollars in the seven years since in one of the smaller NFL markets. Then he turns around and holds the state hostage for money on renovating his 20 year old stadium, while also putting a big statue of himself at the front gates because of course he did.

The Browns most likely got the #1 pick locked up And unless they screw it up they should be able to add at least 2 high impact players in the draft between them having Houston’s 1st round pick and their own Bless their heart. They have the picks but that scouting department is horrendous

Somebody in this thread compared him to Dynamite Kid.
As big an asshole as Kid was, the Tiger Mask matches alone and the influence they've had on the industry is more relevant today than Snow's entire career.
Hell Dave Meltzer, who is constantly crapped on by Snow as a person whose opinion is irrelevant because he never worked a match, is significantly more relevant than Snow even 35 or so years after the first Observer was published.
Even Foley by book #3 was tired of making fun of Snow and basically replaced him with Test.

Yeah remember how AJ spent what would have been the peak of his career (early 30's) dressing up in a turkey suit and trying to play act Ric Flair? And also how he become ten times the star after a year in a company that isn't even based in the United States?

This deal makes an enormous amount of sense for Disney, though I dunno exactly why Fox is doing all of this. Aren't the Star Wars rights fully going to Disney in 2020 anyway? Not for IV, which was funded partially by FOX and they retain rights basically forever (or at least until it becomes public domain). A merger is the only way for Disney to ever get exclusive rights to it.
