He's a 12-time World Champion. In what world does that make you a failure? Dolph Ziggler's a two-time World Champion, Sheamus a three or four-time World Champion. Look where they are now. Hell, look where they were when they won 'em! No. The savage to Cena's Hogan. As much as people don't like them that's a fair analaogy For Cena, it is an apt analogy. For Orton, it's not. I wouldn't call him a "failure" per se, but I don't think it's too much to say he failed to meet expectations. Here they were cloaking him with Naitch and Haitch, building him to be the hot, attractive upstart that became too cool for Evolution; fast forward to today and he's the guy they call when The Guys - the ones people pay to see - aren't in the main event picture for whatever reason, be it injury, another storyline, you name it. The back wanted him to be The Guy, badly. Instead, he's utility - not that there's anything wrong with that, but they clearly wanted him to be more.

Seth Rollins has already walked out of the main event of WrestleMania as WWE Champion. The others may have time to catch up or even surpass him but, as of now, he's far and away in the lead.

I'm not saying it was a waste but I think KOTR should be a PPV and the winner gets a title shot. Get rid of one of the May - Jul Or Sept/Oct and have be "winner is #1 contender @ SS" Get rid of Payback and have it as the June PPV, like it was prior to the brand extension. Winner gets a WWE Title match at SummerSlam.

I give Nikki credit for being not bad, but not bad doesn't equal good. Hell, the only reason Brie's got rust is she's notably taken a backseat and isn't really getting that ring time in, and it shows. Bottom line, though, I'm not about to tear the roof off just because they aren't drizzling anymore.
BTW: If you're best defense of a wrestler is "but they're hot, tho," they really don't have anything going for them. Bret Hart's never been too much of a looker, but everything he does is crisp and fluid. Compare, say, Lucky Cannon: He had a nice look and that's about it. Worked out real well for him, didn't it?

Had a feeling MKII would be the runaway favorite, and rightfully so. I loved the heck out of Deception too, and MK3: Ultimate helped define my childhood, alongside Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic and Knuckles, WWF No Mercy, and 007: Goldeneye. Always wanted to play Shaolin Monks but I have yet to, at this point.

I'd pay money for SHIELD versus the Corporate Rehash. Hell, I'm already paying the $9.99 a month, least give me a reason that isn't a PPV from ten years ago.

Booker T is by and far the WORST of the Haitch unnecessary victories. When you're building the storyline around Trips saying "people like you don't deserve to be champion" and the other guy (Booker T) is the one with everything to prove, common sense says give it to the other guy. Instead, they gave it to Trips, proved him right, and Book spent three-odd years getting back to some level of prominence - before being sent back down by none other than Triple H in 2007. Sting wins silver (OMGZ, TRIPLE H DESTROYS WCW), Lesnar wins bronze (there's no reason Trips should have broken his momentum, especially if he was gonna lose at Extreme Rules AFTER WrestleMania), and Rock wins honorable mention (just like Lesnar, he could have won AT Mania instead of AFTER, but Hunter couldn't hurt his momentum if he tried). Orton wins the Lifetime UN-Achievement awards: I can't think of any interaction they've had that didn't end up with Orton coming out of it a complete loser, and I don't even like Orton that much.

In 2009 yes. Even after the never ending Chavo vs. Hornswoggle feud ended, DX spent more time feuding with Hornswoggle then Cena to build up the main event of Survivor Series 2009. Then f***ing little people's court. You could not f***ing escape from Hornswoggle in 2009 Factually. Main event or not, when there's a guaranteed thirty minutes set aside for your shenanigans on a two-hour show, you're a local man - and, in Hornswoggle's case, YOU RUINED EVERYTHING!!!

Story. I wasn't all that interested in The Imitation Game until I saw a trailer and realized it wasn't just "random Cumberbatch movie," but rather based on Alan Turing and the creation of the machine that beat Enigma and helped win World War II. Similar with Foxcatcher (still have to see that). Trailers are underrated, especially good ones.
Outside of other, of those listed, the cast does deffo play a role. As wowed as I was by the trailers to and stories behind Nightcrawler and Selma, their respective casts certainly added to my excitement: I knew Jake Gyllenhaal would knock it out the park in Nightcrawler, and there was a rather well list of underrated, amazing actors in Selma - like David Oyelowo and Tim Roth, who excellently portrayed Dr. King and Governor Wallace respectively.

Makafushigi Adventure is definitive DragonBall to me. Only thing touching it is Mezase Tenkaichi, ALSO definitive DragonBall. Of those listed, We Gotta Power is about second. Chala Hetchara, for all it's love, is about third to me.

They needed some kind of angle to give Orton a rematch. Expect Orton to be shouting about it at some point tonight. Yep. They intentionally left it ambiguous so they could do a finish like that which would give some kind of a reason for Orton to get a rematch. Other than Reigns, who else can they even give a shot to right now? Cena and Bryan would usually be the most obvious answers, but given the burnout on the former and the latter's injuries, that's a really good question. They could start building up Ambrose, especially considering he already has the fan's love already and, like Reigns, there's a built-in backstory with them going back to their time in the SHIELD together.

Just for posterity, can you BE disqualified at an "extreme rules" PPV? That'd kinda contradict the whole "extreme" thing, innit?

It's been a minute since I've watched Impact, so I can't talk on Marti, Jade (Mia Yim), or Havoc's abilities in the ring. Based on what I do know, Awesome Kong would still be an awesome addition to the division, and Brooke's got mad potential, just needs a bit sharpening in NXT is all.
Gail WALKED OUT on national television during a match. For all the shit we talk about Pun burning bridges, he always finished a match, whether or not he liked the outcome. I wouldn't be surprised if Gail was listed under "no rehire" to be honest, and I wouldn't blame them.

Either Sara Del Rey versus Natalya, Natalya versus Mickie James, or Mickie James versus Sara Del Rey. Amazingly, a triple threat between the three I'm not too into, but I can name the triple threat matches I've liked on one hand.
With the current roster, I dunno. At the moment, Naomi versus Paige.

Yeah Orton hit it on Kane, but he technically wasn't a match participant. I'm kinda confused right now. Like Lawler said, the move itself was banned from the match so how could Seth use it? As the gatekeeper, he was as much a match participant as a referee. That is to say, if Rollins is to be in trouble for using a cutter on Orton, wouldn't Orton have to be penalized for using the RKO period?
