Anyone else seeing parallels between Sheamus and Bobby Lashley? I mean, Sheamus is leaps and bounds above of him when it comes to charisma, but I can't help but feel like they're pushing him into the same rut that Lashley got stuck in. Big, fit guy who never loses to anyone isn't really a character with any substance.

I'd be hard pressed to say anyone but Garbodor, the literal bag of garbage.

This is exactly it really. As gimmicky as his offense has gotten what with the 15 different elbow variations, the whole knockout thing didn't come off as so goofy on the indies. But when he spends 85 percent of the match doing rest holds it really lacks believability. From what I've seen so far, making it the focal point of the character is making Hero look super one dimensional. I'm definitely not the biggest Hero supporter, but he's a talented guy who's definitely capable of working. With a gimmick rehash and a subsidy of that muffin top he'll be just fine. I think if they make the roaring elbow his primary finisher it'll be fine, but if they expanded his moveset with a yakuza/side/super kick, a generic big suplex/slam, then I think he'll be fine. He just needs to adjust to the style. I'm sure we'll see a lot of changes over the coming months for him. I'm personally partial to the death blow and that ridiculous discus boot he started doing over the last year or so. But yeah, it's definitely not time to push the panic button yet. As long as they down play the whole bad ass thing and let him function as a snarky, show offy, somewhat delusional heel like he was during the hdnet era of ROH, i think he'll be fine.

I don't know, his gimmick just seems.......off. I like Hero but when I see this Jesus lookalike I don't think "oh man, I bet that guy loves knocking people out!". Doesn't really work IMO. Anybody have the sparknotes for this? The use of punctuation and lack of syntax hurt my brain.

The believe the point is "Who would have sex with Dusty Rhodes?" Which is a pretty good question. Lest we forget the conception of Phi Delta Slam
