So uhhh, now we have Sin Cara, Damien Sandow, Brodus Clay, Antonio Cesaro, and Ryback simultaneously working programs that only involve them winning? Wonderful...

If Raw opens with a Big Show promo I riot fall asleep. Really? How would you respond to a "Michael Cole Exclusive" starring John Cena as the opener? Also, this post dedicated to Eduard Khil, AKA Mr. Trololo, who died of a stroke today at age 74. Looks like we got a soothsayer over here

Here's to hoping. There's a genuine lack of good faces on the roster.

Dumbest, flimsiest excuse for a turn ever. Anyone else banking on seeing this recap again at the top of the hour?

If we're looking at this from a kayfabe perspective, it's gotta be Sheamus. Almost every one of his signatures moves(IE, Brogue Kick, Finlay Roll, Celtic Cross, Running Powerslam, Uranage Backbreaker, Crucifix Powerbomb) under most circumstances would be considered finishes, or have been used by other guys to end matches.
Even though the same could be said about Ryback, he probably has my favorite current moveset. Everything he does looks so brutal and fluid. I'm really into that Farooq spinebuster/deadlift powerbomb combo he just started using.

This if I recall correctly So we're supposed to believe that getting dropped on the top of your head from that height is shake off-able, but a head kick isn't? I mean, I'd understand if he was Cro Cop or something, but he ain't no Mirko! Context my man. The Avalance Dragon Suplex as a mid match move is a different argument entirely, but I found no fault in ending the match with a headkick. Predating the final headkick were about a million others, as well as a plethora of suplexes, and about 5 minutes in an ankle lock. Elgin used his last breathe to kick out at 1 of a shining wizard and spit at Davey, and the last kick is what finally put him out. It's the same reason why no one complained about Misawa ending matches with an elbow strike. I'm a bit of a Davey apologist, but I found the match to be absolutely fantastic. And not just from a MOVEZ standpoint. Sure, it wasn't exactly Taker/HHH II from a storytelling standpoint, but the idea of Elgin as the young up start giving Richards absolutely everything he had in his first title shot worked just fine.

Wow, what a phenomenal match. It's a major mindf*** to see such a fantastic, 2005 era ROH style match in a WWE ring, let alone in a WWE title match. Can't wait for round 2.
