well, fellas, i was once a fan of mr ken kennedy
but i can't remember the last time i was truly entertained by him in the ring
i'm not expecting him to be a technical great or anything, but the guy's matches are boring as f***
his matches are nowhere near as entertaining as his recent media appearances, the fool

Last time I enjoyed Kennedy was when he was on a role on Smackdown, beating all the former World Champions. He's been lame as hell on Raw, but his feud with HBK isn't going too badly.

Royal Rumble last year vs. Batista.
I was on the edge of my seat routing for him. Since than...it's been slowly going downhill for me. Didn't even really pop when he won MITB.

I've never really been entertained by a Kennedy match, at least, not through any action of Kennedy's.
Sometimes people can carry him to a watchable match, but when he's supposed to be in there directing traffic, the match is always bland and boring.
Plus his "finisher of the week" and lack of any decent signature moves, combined with his lack of selling ability detract from most of his matches.
The guy reminds me of a tag specialist trying to wrestle singles and being unable to adapt. I don't know much about Kennedy's history but it wouldn't surprise me if he was mainly a tag guy before WWE-land.

With Matt Hardy in his last match before his injury, on Smackdown! around May or April.

I'm sure he was in a few of those super-awesome 20 minute Matt Hardy matches they used to have every week. But, with Hardy at the level he's at, and the benefit of post-production, I'd guess those matches would be improved upon. I don't think I've ever seen him have a good live match. JBL shilling for him and talking about him "zeroing in on a bodypart" really helped him too. I now wonder just how much his Smackdown matches were edited.
It's funny how, two years ago, when Kennedy returned and MVP debuted, I think most people would have said Kennedy was the better of the two, and the one destined for a World Title in th future. Now, in almost every concievable way, MVP has emerged as the superior performer by far.
It also doesn't help that Kennedy was recently exposed as a moronic, lying, gashead.

I think even WWE has given up on Kennedy ever being a serious threat. Let's face it: He is so jobbing to HBK on Sunday. This almost reminds me of that Chris Masters feud that Michaels had after jobbing to Hogan, just something to get him back on track. Now HBK has just gotten done jobbing to Orton, so Kennedy is his bounce back feud.

Last good match was the one against Batista. Not a 5-star clinic, but at least Kennedy showed intensity and some decent psychology.
After the injury and the suspension, he's been as exciting as watching paint drying (or grass growing)

I think people are being ridiculously unfair on Kennedy. He had an out of work old timer to wrestle last night, of course it wasn't going to be entertaining.
He had a very watchable match with Jeff Hardy on HBK's return night not too long ago, and since the thread asks for 'decent', I think going right back to January this year is ridiculous.

Something on Velocity, before they brought him up to Smackdown.
Really, that's the last time I cared about a Kennedy anything, really.

I haven't really payed much attention to Kennedy for a long time. But I just can't think of any really memorable match from him. I guess his "Last Ride" match with Undertaker was pretty good. It's the only one that really comes to mind.
And I'm not going to make a new thread on this, but what's the deal with Kennedy using a new move as a finisher just about every month/week/day? He must have used the most finishers in wrestling history.

The Money in the Bank at 'Mania match was pretty good, despite the totally non-sensible ending and WWE throwing away Edge's undefeated streak for apparently no reason. Kennedy isn't a horrible in-ring competitor, but the man only really shines when he is in there with someone who can hide his flaws. Taker has been slowing down in recent years and nowhere was this more apparent than in his feud with Kennedy. However, throw Kennedy in there with Jeff Hardy or Fit Finlay and the guy can put on a show.

I really enjoyed his match with Jeff Hardy back in late August on RAW. I thought they worked well together. Although I have not seen a lot of Kennedy's recent work but that is the last decent match I remember him working.
