I am sorry, I can't think of any other creative topic name so bear with me. If a kid watching wrestling does an FU on his brother/sister/friend/random kid on a table or cement, should the WWE get the flack for displaying the violence, or would the parents be responsible? This is kind of a dated debate, since the entire discussion started when a kid Rock-Bottom his sister causing the kid to go jail. I want to know what is the general opinion today.

not the WWE's fault. They say dont try this at home every day... its their job to wrestle.. both the kids and the parents should know better

Tricky topic.
I say parents. If they'd educated their kids well enough, then the children would know not to attempt something like an FU on a concrete footpath/driveway, etc.
There are disclaimers put out on every show. I remember this being discussed on Oprah once & they showed one of the disclaimer commercials. Oprah snidely remarked: "Yeah, that'll really stop kids from trying to imitate them." Well, if it doesn't, then the parents are to blame for not educating their stupid kids properly!

How many times does the HBO run "Dont Try This At Home" segments?

All parents need to do is explain how dangerous it is to do that and make sure the kids understand that. If they don't understand that then don't let them watch.

Me and my brother wrestled around all the freakin' time. Same thing with me and friends. Sometimes someone would get a little hurt. No one ever came close to dying or needing to be in jail though. Hence, this is why I think it's ALL on the parents. We were smart enough to know what was going to far. We watched the same stuff they do now, and we emmulated them... we weren't dumb about it though. What is wrong with these kids today?

I say parents.
Now, I don't know if I can count myself as a child who grew up watching wrestling and came out fine because wrestling was very different back in the early 90's than it is now. The violence wasn't as intense, plus I never wanted to get myself hurt to begin with, so I guess that's why my parents didn't care about me watching wrestling when I was young.

Oh and BTW, for those who didn't follow I think it is a parent thing, only you know how to deal with your kids with what they do and see...simple.

Its the kids own damn fault. The more parents enforce the rules, the more their offspring rebels.

if a kid tries to jam a small woodland animal into a plastic ball, is it pokemons fault?

WWE. Only a insensitive jerk would expect parents to take any responsibility for how their children turn out. Wait? That's not how it is? Then why do so many parents always to blame others for their child's mistakes? my advice: Blame Canada

Parents always. You either don't let your kid watch it if you think they'll imitate it or you patiently explain it to them if they do watch like Jamie and Adam do at the beginning of every MythBusters: "Don't try this at home... EVER!"

Parents are always responsible for their children, it's just that there are some s****y parents out there that decide it's never their fault when something bad happens.
