There have been face vs. face main events in years past (Hogan/Warrior, Bret/Shawn, Cena/Shawn, Batista/Taker), so do you ever think WWE would take a chance on having two heels fighting for the title at their major show without one doing a face turn first?

Ehhhh, maybe a tweener versus heel

Yeah, one of the guys would have to be tweener, minimum. I mean, if it's heel vs. heel, and asshole wins either way, how are the fans supposed to feel?

The fans are going to pick sides anyway.

The fans are going to pick sides anyway. True, I mean heel vs heel works. But I doubt WWE would do it at WM. Just wouldn't fit very well (Of course a heel winning a wrestlemania was weird too with HHH and Austin)

Rock vs. Hogan was heel vs. heel. At least it was to me cause I didn't want to see either man wrestle.

like anything if it were booked properly heel vs heel at wm could work. If done correctly. Like CC vs Angle in TNA right now.

Dx volume three, both wrestlers decide to turn on each other and start feud where they try to top each other by being more heel.

There were clear favorites in all of those matches. There's never going to be a "whoever wins, we win" situation. That's just very unWrestlemanialike. New word.

Dx volume three, both wrestlers decide to turn on each other and start feud where they try to top each other by being more heel. I just pictured Michaels and Trips in the center of the ring on Raw one week, where they walk apart, and when they come back together, Trips is about to nail HBK with the sledgehammer, and HBK is poised to strike H with the superkick simultaneously. They both just stare shocked at the other as the show ends.

The crowed would pick one of them to cheer and that perosn would then automatically become face.

I think the fans would have to allow themselves to enjoy what could be a break in the formulaic norm in WWE.
To see two heels try to outdo each other in heel tactics or agree to a fair match (In a weird "Honor amongst thieves way" ((If Ring of Honor steals that as a PPV title in which heels show solidarity to defeat faces. Give the Magic One credit)). )

Sure, it could. Might not ever happen, but it could.
Takes two special heels to make it happen though, and a face turn for one of them during/afterwards is virtually guaranteed.

Only Evolution Triple H vs JBL with both titles on the line would be conceivable for that. I can't see another heel vs heel main-event that would really draw.

The montreal screwjob match was heel/heel (bret WAS a face, but only in Canada, in America he was still being portrayed as a heel in the weeks leading up to survivor series).
