Source: Wrestling Observer
"The Boogeyman hasn't been seen on WWE TV since November when he was involved in the one night only return of DX.
To put it bluntly, WWE don't know what to do with him. WWE writers Ed Koskey and Brian Gerwirtz are Boogey's main supporters as they like to write comedy segments for him. Working against this though is ECW head writer Dusty Rhodes, who wants to limit skits and promos on ECW with more solid in ring action.
The general feeling is that his act grows stale quickly, so they will use him on a non regular basis, possibly moving him to Smackdown for the younger children."
Translation: He will be getting fired again soon. Also, they realize he can't wrestle. Hmm, maybe WWE is starting to learn.

Had a nice top rope splash he used all of one time.
Can I have a job at WWE creative? I could think of a thousand things to do with Boogeyman.

Put him back on SD! and add him to the Vicky/Edge storyline. Just have him pop up whenever Vickie and Edge try and get romantic.

Wait...wait...wait...
When did Dusty become ECW's head booker? Last time I checked, it was still Lagana.
Why would Boogey even get drafted to ECW if they didn't want him?

I actually agree with a lot of what WWE people reportedly feel about him. He's pretty fun for comedy segment surprises and things, but his act get old pretty quickly.

Boogeyman, pre-LOD babyface Heidenreich and just out of OVW Eugene were 3 gimmicks that probably had no right to get over, but they obviously did. Eugene wore out his welcome shortly before getting injured at NYR 05. Heidenreich became a member of LOD and no one knows what to do with Boogeyman

I don't really see any news.... I know it's gotten old to bash newz sites but come on, there is no factual evidence here that would lead me to believe this.
I could care less if he got fired. It was pretty dumb for all the stuff he's put into his gimmick (IE: teeth pulled out, haircut etc.)

I think that's exactly the right way to use him - occasional appearances.

I love the Boogeyman gimmick, so I hope this doesn't lead to his release.

TNA would sign him and call him "The Big Boogey" or something.

O really? I thought he had most of his teeth pulled out. I'm thinking crazy because now I remember he doesn't have front teeth. I'm not sure why I thought all of his teeth were gone. I'm getting old and getting crazier. Thank you for correcting me.

Had a nice top rope splash he used all of one time. Can I have a job at WWE creative? I could think of a thousand things to do with Boogeyman. I support your crusade only if you can get me hired, too. I still think they should do a face-injury angle with Kane, have him come back with the mask, and have him start teaming with Boogeyman both to (a) help show him the ropes, so to speak, and (b) cause me to mark the f*** out. Something about a Kane/Boogeyman duo seems like the type of thing I could get into, and I, also, could come up with a thousand things to do with both of them.

TNA would sign him and call him "Marty Wright, formerly The Boogeyman in WWE" or something. Fixed for accuracy.

They teamed Kane and Boogey up on SD! late last year (or early this year, I forget) in a match against Regal and Taylor. It was quite entertaining, as I recall, and after they won Kane looked legitimately impressed/amused by the whole Boogeyman schtick and Cole/JBL made a point of putting over the duo as a possible tag team. So naturally that was the only time they'd team up ever.
