Probably not even in the top 20. As far as those who have entertained me more than Triple H a list off the top of my head would include in no particular order...
Hulk Hogan Bret Hart Razor Ramon The Rock "Macho Man" Randy Savage Shawn Michaels Owen Hart The British Bulldog Edge Christian Ric Flair Mick Foley Mr. Perfect Chris Jericho The Undertaker Earthquake Ted DiBiase Jake Roberts
True, not all of them are better than him in an overall sense and some and some would be considered laughable comparisons, but ultimately WWE is an entertainment product and each one of these guys entertained me more overall than Triple H.

Somewhere in the top twenty in my opinion, though he's tied with a lot of people. Off the top of my head, I'd rank the following people over him: Sammartino, Hogan, Flair, Austin, Rock, Undertaker, Hart, HBK.... and then it gets nebulous. He seems to be on the level of, IMO, Piper, Savage, Billy Graham, Angle, Foley maybe Davy Boy, Mr. Perfect, Dibiase, Jake Roberts and a couple more. Guys like Edge, Cena, Orton, Jericho aren't at that level yet but hopefully will be at some point. Lesnar wasn't around long enough, Benoit and Eddy didn't spend enough time on top and have suffered from their respective scandels, Mysterio is too "controversial" in regards to his push, and alot of guys who could be on the list: your Goldbergs, Dusty Rhodes, Terry Funks, etc. spent more time elsewhere.
Triple H is interesting because he's been around for so long but hasn't had the earth shattering rivalry yet or the legendary programs that others have had. He's definitely one of the best but I don't think he's the best.

I'm sorry but Earthquake and Christian?? Christian did not entertain in the WWE he was a side kick, he failed as a solo wrestler hence him going to TNA. Name one Earthquake match that comes close to HHH vs Foley in hell in a cell or the street fight?? I think you need to look past the fact you dislike him and take into consideration 11 title reigns and being apart of two of the best modern day WWE stables in DX and Evoloution.

I feel like WWE has been trying to force feed him to us as the #1 of all time, but I'm just not feeling it.
HHH was never THE BIG PLAYER in either of the boom eras. He never had the larger than life 'superstar' aura around him, because his thing is that he just wanted to come off as the ultimate surly "My life is wrestling!" badass. Even during his Monster Heel run of doom, he never felt like "The Guy". His "I'm the best because I'm all business, where as everyone else care about being entertaining" character keeps fans from connecting with him, I think.

He's in the definite top 10 for me:
That is WWF's most important wrestlers:
1) Hulk Hogan 2) Steve Austin 3) Bruno Sammartino 4) The Undertaker 5) Bob Backlund 6) Andre the Giant 7) The Rock 8) Triple H 9) Randy Savage 10) Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart tied.
Seriously that's who i consider the top 10 wrestlers in WWE's history
Triple H and Rock were pulling huge numbers in 2000-2001.
I mean Wrestlemania 21 did the highest buyrate since WM VII, his merchandise and the d-x merchandise flies off the shelves.
I don't get the "didn't draw money arguement, because he's made WWE a considerable amount of money long term.

He's up there...but won't be remembered as fondly as others (Hogan, Austin, Rock)

I probably wouldn't put him in the top ten. There's been a lot of wrestlers who were better in the ring and more important than him.

He's probably in the top 15 for me. This is coming from someone that's not a huge fan of his work but I can appreciate his talent and he played a good heel to guys like Rock and Austin. He's not as good a heel as Piper, Dibiase or Roberts, in my opinion.

I'm with Jim Cornette on this one. Triple H is merely adequate, but thanks to his mega-push and the efforts of the likes of Austin, Foley, The Rock, Angle, Undertaker, Michaels and to a lesser degree the Booker T's of this world he's on our freakin' TV's every minute of every day - to clarify, Cornette said that Triple H doesn't draw money - he works WITH the guy that draws the money - see the list above. When he had to be the main guy in a program, we ended up with the burials of RVD, Scott Steiner and RKO. Don't forget that Foley dropped two high profile matches to HHH and basically made his name for him.
Sorry got a bit carried away there - it would be nice to say that HHH could easily have gotten where he is without all the politicking and the burials of other talent (Kane, anyone) but I sincerely doubt it.....

Well, the guys who "put HHH over" were over thank to the effort of other wrestlers, so it's a reasoning that works both ways. And is hence useless to determine somebody's importace. Saying Triple H doesn't draw money is absurd. Sure he couldn't have sold arenas by himself, but that was a task only Hogan was able to do (he main evented against Bundy and 'Quake... hardly M-E material, but people were flocking in regardless because it was Hogan). HHH worked with people who drew, but he was himslef a part of the drawing team. About the burials, enough already... most of them were already a rung or two below him on the ladder of WWE. I'll give you RVD but we've debated more than adequately about that.

It’s time to flame The Game Time to flame The Game! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha Ha, ha, ha
It’s all about The Game, and how you blame him All about the troll, and if you desecrate him All about respect, and if you can pay it He isn’t Bret Hart, so he’s not gonna make it
He is The Game, and you’re gonna blame him He is the troll, and you’ll desecrate him All about respect, no way you will pay it He isn’t Bret Hart, so you know he will take it
Look at the next poster, ready to run (his mouth) Throwin’ down the flames, like a smoking gun I am The Game, and I piss off the noobs So go all-out, and you can die like a fool Try and figure out what the flame’s gonna be Come on over, why don’t you PM me? Don’t forget there’s a card you can play Cause I am the The Game and someone called me gay

I actually don't dislike Triple H. But Christian in the WWE was entertaining to me. Of course in the grand scheme of things Triple H's career seems and is light years ahead of guys like Christian and Earthquake at least in terms of WWE. It doesn't change the fact that I'd rather watch a TLC match featuring Christian more that 99 percent of anything featuring Triple H any day of the week. Also, doesn't change the fact that Triple H never got me as interested in any of his story lines where he was the focus the way that Earthquake did.

Top 25. He is a good wrestler in his own right, he's just overbooked and overrated.

I'd put him after: Hogan Warrior Bret Hart HBK Andre Rock Austin Foley Flair Then HHH. I guess he is top ten in my mind at least. I know that means jack squat. But I felt like posting something

HHH is one of my all-time favorites- for both intentional and unintentional reasons on his part.
He's in the top 10 of WWF/E's greatest performers. But he would be like somewhere in the lower half of the top 50 American wrestlers of all time.

Rankings will always be subjective, but I would say that Triple H is among the top ten of all time, mainly for his work as a heel rather than a face.
