Even though I can't stand HHH, he would probably be in the top 10. His logetivity really helps his ranking out, as well does the WM buyrates with him on top. It'd be something like this:
1.Hogan 2.Austin 3.Bruno 4.Rock 5.Andre 6.Rocca 7.HHH 8.Backlund 9.Graham. 10.Hart

Objectively speaking he's in the top 10, but I wouldn't know where I would personally rank him since there's even random midcarders like Repo Man and Simon Dean's whose acts I've enjoyed better.

I'd definitely rank HHH in the top 15. He's one of the best heels of all time, a great worker, and cuts awesome promos. I think some of the people in this post are a little insane...saying Ultimate Warrior and SID VICIOUS are better than HHH, but to each his own. Triple H definitely deserves his spot in the top 15, if not the top 10.
I do think, though, that a distinction must be drawn between the likes of Sammartino, Backlund, Morales, ect and superstars of the "Sports Entertainment" era. Wrestling had a certain mystique to it back then, people questioned if it was a work or not and the wrestlers never came out and said what they did was fake. Wrestling was something completely different before Hulkamania...it was WRESTLING, not entertainment. So unfortunately, I don't think you can really rank those older guys in the top ten because their time period was SOOOOOO different. I'm not disrespecting these guys' achievements, because they were great, but they just didn't have the drawing power and work rate of wrestlers of today. Therefore Triple H trumps all of those oldies...and definitely Warrior and Sid!

People have saying wrestling was a work since the 1930's. Bruno, Rocca, Gorgeous George, Lou Thesz, and Buddy Rogers drew more fans than Trips did, among many others. Also, many of the old timers are much better than anybody nowadays. They did not have alot of these gimmick matches, or moves to use, so they actually wrestled on the mat. Don't even get on the entertainment/showmanship part, because George and Rogers are copied more than just about anyone else besides Superstar Graham in that department. Ric Flair himself even admits to stealing alot of stuff from Rogers. George was actually one of the first, if not the first to use entrance music. Seriously, don't ever post again.

That's a laugh, especially when frequent reports about arenas having to be tarped off (not just for the camera) because of bad ticket sales.

Don't do that again.

Since the WWE is still going strong....well maybe not strong, but you get the idea...and it doesn't look like that is an end in sight for them in the forseeable future, I don't think I can accurately place him yet. He's in the top 20 for sure but where exactly I'm not sure.
