Get rid of the Impact Zone, for god's sake! They don't even know who to cheer for anymore! Stop with the constant face/heel turns. Agreed. Those idiots in the Impact Zone are the main reason (along with TNA's shitty booking) that took the Christy Hemme VKM feud about women in wrestling and turned HER into the heel.

True, and her horrible acting didn't do her any favors either.

if you notice when ever a show is free of wwe /wcw guys people stop watching. Fact: Sting has never been on a Impact that got less than a 1.0

I always find it kinda funny when people say how they miss WCW. I don't see what they're missing when you got TNA around. This is pretty much what WCW looked like circa 2000.
But, the fact is simple the way I see it. It has nothing to do with being a WWE clone. The WWE formula works. It's all about execution. TNA has had plenty of opportunities to draw new viewers (i.e. Joe-Angle, the return of Sting), but completely lost momentum because they didn't quite come up with a compelling enough storyline to lure new viewers in.
TNA isn't 'doomed'. But TNA certainly will NEVER come close to being viewed as WWE's equivalent. They are a very distant no. 2 wrestling promotion, and there's no indication that they're making positive steps.

First of all, three years is a long time. Secondly, three years ago they had a network deal with Fox Sports. And Fox Sports put them on Friday afternoons with is basic programming suicide. Thirdly, they are on Spike TV with a comfy primetime slot. If anything, if they HADN'T quadruple their ratings in three years, I would think they were much worse off.

I'd say Cena/HBK from the UK was way better than that and I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of other matches as well, but you sound like you wouldn't admit anything from WWE was better than TNA. You weren't addressing me, but I legitimately don't think anything from WWE is better than anything from TNA. TNA sucks because it's becoming more like WWE. Therefore, logically, WWE fans should like it more. Guys who mark for exploding limos and married couples pretending to break up in a ring should think TNA is improving. Guys like me are the ones who should see TNA in decline. LAX vs. Styles and Daniels in ultimate X was one of the best matches I've ever seen, and the two WWE guys you mentioned have never impressed me from what I've seen. That doesn't mean I'm a TNA zombie though. After last night (the first PPV since WCW folded I genuinely regret ordering) TNA has to work really hard to keep me as a fan. I've got my tickets to the TNA house show in Syracuse on Sept. 3rd. They've still got a few chances left to win me back. But I'm not a 'blind' fan of anything.

I'm a bit late to this one, and I'm sure it's already been said, but...
Does TNA really need "saving" at this point? Yea, I can't stand their booking decisions. I think they grossly misuse their talent. And I think they blow more and more opportunities on a regular basis. But their ratings remain strong (with the exception of Thursday). And there haven't been any reports of TNA's buyrates going down.
My point is, while there are plenty of us on here who don't like TNA (and I'm still in that lot), they seem to be surviving just fine without us. Exactly what do they need to be "saved" from?

From an outside view (mine) I'd say the biggest problem TNA has is the same problem wwe has.
They are relying on nostalgia. All these old wwe guys, wcw guys etc ... I remember coming on here ages ago and the big names to talk about were Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Amazing Red, Elix Skipper, Sabin, Petey Williams, Abyss ... this seems to have changed dramatically with this influx of wwe cast offs and wcw old guard.
Frankly Samoa Joe should have been champion by now, while Christopher Daniels should be in the main event along with AJ Styles (As well as Christian, Sting, Kurt Angle and Jarret when he gets back)
Tomko, Test, Rhyno & Team 3D should all be in the midcard.
I'd also get out of just using one arena for where the tv shows come from, the fans there are too set in there ways.
Finally fire the VKM, they are long past there sell by date.

i believe VKM to be the worst part of tna. the worst. This is the one thing that has not changed. It was true when TNA was number one (in quality, not ratings) with D'Amore/Tenay booking, it's true with Russo/Mantel and it will be true for whomever comes next. They add nothing. They were over ten years ago, when all WWF fans wanted was for people to point to their crotches and yell "Suck it." Even WWF fans can tell these guys suck now.

TNA can't ever be faulted on workrate. THey have some of the best workers in the world. The trouble is they book them so poorly that matches end up looking like shit

and hey tna's x division might be on hold right now at least hornswoggle isn't the champ. At least Hornswoggle defends it. Not only that, but at least Hornswoggle is technically a cruiserweight. Kurt Angle is not an X-Division wrestler, and he is not a tag team. Yet he holds the top prize of both of those divisions.

I know I've said this before, but how does it make TNA look when a guy from WWE manages to win every single title in the company within less than a year?

x division has no weight limit. it is just mainly fought after by those that are cruiserweight. samoa joe or kurt angle both make better champions than hornswoggle does. plus it's not like they are ignoring their tag teams while kurt has the belts. they have already been establishing a tag team fueding to get the belts back.
