Other than the oblivious jokes/hopes of ROH, Japan, WWE or other Indies, where does Joe go from here? TNA said that the loser has to start all over and Joe has been made to look like Angle's bitch on many occasions and a major idiot tonight, so I ask what does the future hold for Samoa Joe?

From here? Probably back home to screw his wife.
What, you said you didn't want the obvious jokes!

Joe's pretty much done for at this point, all the momentum he's acquired over the past two years is shot to hell. And I don't see TNA giving him the World Title at this point.
IMO, his best chance was last year when he was sorta feuding with Jeff Jarrett.

Well from the looks of it there isn't a future for him in TNA. He goes from being last years MVP to a bad joke. TNA have proved once again that they can't book a show right to save themselves.

Well he was screwed out of the match so he could go back after Angle.

Well he was screwed out of the match so he could go back after Angle. True, but it won't be next month as Kurt's defending against Abyss. And there are talks of Jeff Jarrett returning as a face to take on Kurt Angle. I don't see another Joe/Angle match happening, at least not anytime soon.

Sadly, Joe is in the same boat as every other TNA original, home grown talent and indy guy. They can win matches against eachother, but the bookers'll be damned if they go over a former E guy. Find me five examples in the last year of a TNA guy going over a WWE/WCW guy without a massive shmazz finish, and I'll retract that.

If he mouths off, he'll probably get suspended and sit out his contract. If he doesn't, there's no point in jobbing him out, because they've already almost destroyed the guy as a threat.
If they don't resign Joe, this is like WCW handing a young Steve Austin or Mick Foley to WWE on a platter.

Joe will stew in the upper-midcard. He'll probably take his frustrations out on Christian Cage at the next PPV.

Yeah that one, usually pinning the champion clean entitles you to a title shot, but for his troubles he gets some cluster match with Abyss/Raven/Spike at BFG last year.

Honeymoon and Knee Surgery, perhaps. That's what I think. He's been having some knee & back problems, hasn't he? I think after he recouperates, he comes back to take on the TNA Champ, wins the belt & has a ROH World Title-esque reign with it... A guy can dream, right?

It's laughable how badly they botched Joe's push.
As soon as Angle was signed, you could almost see Joe's credibility flying away

Anywhere except for the train wreck that's TNA. I'd be shocked if they made if half way through 2008 at this point. They managed to make Joe vs Angle one of the most mundane and uninteresting feuds I've seen in quite some time, and that should NOT have happened.

Also the most predictable, since absolutely nobody here said "yeah Karen's not going to turn on Joe"
