Since they kept Angle under surprize so well last year, it could be anyone.

Good point, they are good at keeping a tight lipped secret.
I'll go with Lesnar just cause I'd like to see it happen.

I hope it's RVD (and maybe Sabu, too?), but I'm thinking it might be Booker if the quitting rumors are true. Lesnar has too much money to make in MMA to bother with whatever TNA would offer him.

If it's not Jericho, RVD or Lesnar it will be a waste of time/money.
With the exception of Sabu since he's probably cheap and would only wrestle in the midcard.

Everyone says Brock as if it'd be him.... The easiest way to go about it is RVD. Not only was he let go from WWE at the beginning of summer... but there were ALREADY reports of him possibly going to TNA. Lets not forget last year at D2D (I didn't watch i swear), Rob's wife was starting TNA chants.... but of course its Brock? Did we all forget all the RVD/TNA talks? I remember reading that he wanted a little hiatus before wrestling again.. what better hiatus than TNA.. with their easy schedule. Personally I hope to eat my words and say that Van Damn is part of Project 161. PLEASE! But even TNA could swerve us with David Arquette. But I'm pretty damn sure its RVD.

All that has been said is they were in talks with someone, not have signed someone right? If so, Brock is the obvious since they have been in talks with him thanks to Angle. However, they have talked with everyone on the list outside of Booker and Flair, I'd imagine.

411mania is reporting that Lesner is going to UFC. He will not be in TNA anytime soon.
That said, my hope is still for Rob Van Dam in TNA.

If you remember there was huge talk about Kurt 100% going to do MMA, just before he signed with TNA, even from his agent. All this Brock MMA talk could just be to throw us off again.

The answer is: TNA is in talks with any and every former champion, it's just a matter of whether or not they'll go there that's the issue.

Guys this is so easy and no one's catching it.It's former WSX champion Ricky Banderas yeah I was wandering this. cos like the already announced earlier that a former world champ was coming to TNA. Then Bandares did that under the ring thing. Then blabed his mouth about the storyline, so it got put back a while. I just wander whether or not, because TNA still feel he has not officially debuted, that they are still classing him as the former-world champion that is about to arrive in TNA. Hopefully both announcements were not in regards to banderas. and this new announcement is talking about someone else.
