Then a bunch of screaming came over the speaker and a bunch of hooded figures came out. The Briscoes went up to them, but Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black came running into the ring and they had a standoff. This ended quickly because Necro Butcher came from the other side with his hand wrapped in barbed wire. The proceeded to tie Mark up to the turnbuckle, and hang Jay by his feet from the chain that held the belts. They cut him open (but this was a weird part) and he dangled for about 5-8 minutes while Jacobs gave a promo letting Jays blood drip all over him. Lacey was also there dressed gothic-y. Good visual, but I couldn't really hear the promo. A loud boring chant broke out, though at one point. I just think that somehow they jigged Jay because he would have passed out being upside down like that and gushing blood. Oh well. After that was over, some dumbass fan did something and both Briscoes looked legit pissed as the crowd chanted 'f this guy'. I don't know what happened, but Mark looked ready to jump over and attack him.

Those fans didn't deserve to hear Jacobs promo if they chant 'boring'.

They'll soon find out that Jacobs will bring their beauty in all of them. First they start with Butcher. And then they'll go to Green Lantern Fan. THEN the world will be their PROJECT.

The fact that people chanting boring at THAT visual saddens me. I don't go along with a lot of the stereotypical ROH fan hate, but this is just lame. Then again, some people decided right away that they were so against this angle that they didn't want anything to do with it. Well, forget them.

I'm now officially more stoked about this than anything ROH has done in the last 2 years.

not everyone was against it. found this one also on the ROH board, where the guy wrote only two things about the show (he said he will go into more detail tomorrow). the first he said the show was amazing and that it was one of the wildest shows in ROH history. the other thing he said was:

And the image of Jimmy Jacobs cutting a promo while blood drips on him is an image that will go down in history. Mark my words.

I think, from what I've read, that they couldn't hear Jacobs' promo. Which sucks. I would still not chant 'boring' if I saw Mr. Jimmy smurfing Jacobs covered in Briscoe blood while wearing a white coat.

Lately I've been wanting some pics, and thanks to that idiotic firing (if the reasons reported are true that is) I haven't been able to get them. The new guy's just aren't as good to me, to be quite frank.

I agree. I'm excited to see who the mastermidn will be. So far we've been right that there's a woman and 3 soldiers, tying in with the Lioncoln Conspiracy idea. The Conspiracy had a mastermind, so I want to know wh othe Porject's is. I'm also curiosu as to who their 3rd victim will be, as the real life Conspiracy of course had 3 intended victims.

If I didn't have DirecTV, I'd order the shit out of this PPV. That Briscoes match sounds amazing. If I knew Project 161 was going to be DIFH, you could've colored me unimpressed. But I think Necro's money, and a great contrast to Jacobs/Black, and Jacobs cutting a promo under a hanged Briscoe with blood dripping all over him sounds like a 2007 equivalent to the Freebirds blinding JYD with hair cream.
