They're.. starting to implement wellness policies. They're gonna have another Test situation.

Didn't WWE REHIRE Matthews as a trainer in OVW? Well, apparently OVW and WWE are seperate when it comes to hirings. That was the answer when OVW hired him in the first place and how it would conflict with the WWE thing.

Didn't WWE REHIRE Matthews as a trainer in OVW? OVW did, not WWE. If he is clean and ready for it then why not? I mean I hate that their roster would be growing again but, I'd love to see him get another chance somewhere.

I feel like whenever they hire a former WWE guy, he somehow finds himself involved in the main event for no good reason whatsoever (I.E. Test)...

TNA is all about WWE's sloppy seconds. Why bitch and moan about it all the time? Atleast Joey Matthews is a decent talent...if the WWE released Edge, TNA shouldn't hire the guy because he use to be in the WWE? Despite the fact that he's a damn good talent... I understand the hate for hiring guys like Test, or Vito...but why act like it's such a worthless thing to do when they're interested in good talent...and I know they have plenty of "homegrown" talent...

Joey Neptune is coming to TNA! With Russo booking, he'd be Joey Uranus.

Their roster isn't lacking for talent and Mercury doesn't have anywhere near the name recognition needed to draw.

Their roster isn't lacking for talent and Mercury doesn't have anywhere near the name recognition needed to draw. So, what? Joey Matthews is suppost to sit on his hands and hope that the WWE makes that call for him to come back and be Joey Mercury again? I say, way to go and good luck to ya! I wouldn't want to avoid the second most high profile job I could get, just because some people think I can't "draw"

I'm curious, when he was hired by WWE initially did the headline read "WWE interested in ANOTHER former ECW Wrestler?"
And did fans say with voices filled with disdain, "WWE is all about ECW's sloppy seconds?"
I'm betting 'no', which makes this ridiculous.
The only former WWE wrestlers who TNA shouldn't have bothered with are the five old and untalented -- VKM, Team 3D and Dustin Rhodes.

Damn no Morrison vs. Mercury fued? Aside form MNM, they're names alone would provide for comedic angles... If he went all out and dressed like this...

I want MNM back. Except now it would be MMM. They could market Campbell's. Or have that Crash Test Dummies song as their theme! Mercury could do well in the X Division. Might be a good fit.
