I would not say all the Die hard ROH-ers are loser, but some are. For example some are huge Assholes that think they are better than everyone else. No one on this board is one of those "losers" though ;D

Jericho calls ROH fans losers. I really enjoy the wrestling in Ring of Honor, but let's be honest. Ring of Honor fans are losers." He asked Dave how many people were there and Dave said about 350. Jericho said that since WCW used to run some of their pay-per-views from there when he worked there, he knew it was a reasonably sized arena. He asked what the capacity was. Dave said about 13, 000. Jericho: "Now, don't you feel like a loser for being there?" Meltzer: "Yeah, kind of." Jericho: "Yeah, because that's what Ring of Honor fans are: losers." The part about 350 fans makes me doubt this, how many fans were there the other night?? Actually, everyone does report they only did about 350 to 400 people yesterday. New area so it's to be expected. I would not say all the Die hard ROH-ers are loser, but some are. For example some are huge Assholes that think they are better than everyone else. No one on this board is one of those "losers" though ;D Never said there weren't any of the AHOLES on this board

Truth be told, ALL wrestling fans are losers, to some extent. We're just as rabid about our wrestling as the sci-fi nerds are about Star Trek: Voyager. Instead of learning Klingon and the Prime Directive, we give matches scores and blather on about "workrate".

I'm sure that there's some context there that doesn't translate well when typing it out. Denial: it's not just a river in Egypt!

How does that even make sense? Just because you don't pay inflated prices to see a sub-par wrestling event like the WWE that makes you a loser? I've sen local shows being headlined by old guys who never made it big draw bigger crowds

Never said there weren't any of the AHOLES on this board Yeah, but I meant ROH fans on here, MGH, UltraMantis Mediocre, sexualvanilla, and McMahon85 are all good people. So by extension I am a good person being an ROH fan and being on this board. That is my backup plan to get upstairs.

Or when a person goes to a movie theater and comes out talking about how lazy of an acting job a certain person did? Is everyone who has a degree of care about a pass time or hobby a loser [to an extent]?

I'm a loser and proud of it, and I don't even watch ROH Praise Jericho for speaking the truth!!! Now imagine the backlash if...say Triple H said exactly the same quote. This thread would be on Part VII already

Go to any of the fan made "shoots" on youtube and tell me, with a straight face, that they don't define the word "loser". As far as the "loser" label applying to ROH fans, well...we all know about the Green Lantern Fan. There are more out there like him, just not as visible (and this is coming from a ROH fan).

eh, its all his opinion. Not gonna call for his head on a pike or anything.
But I don't see how attendance numbers for a show with a terrible stigma around it is grounds for labeling an entire promotion's fanbase as losers(especially considering this company has drawn 3-4x this crowd before).
And WWE and TNA have had bad shows in the past. Like that WWE show in Germany that sold like 800 tickets. I guess WWE fans are losers, too.

Which brings to memory Jericho's brief tenure in ECW, back when they were located primarily in that barely 1000 capacity bingo hall. Kinda hypocritical of him, INHO, but hey. Opinions are like @$$holes.

Instead of learning Klingon and the Prime Directive, we give matches scores and blather on about "workrate". Agreed. Which is why its makes no sense that he targets ROH. What, because ROH has a smaller fanbase than WWE, anyone who likes it is a loser? What a terrible thing - that people would support independent wrestling instead of embracing the monopoly that is WWE, which has no incentive to innovate or evolve. ... Maybe Jericho is a WWE fanboy.

Yeah, the people who "shoot", sure (even though that's an opinion.) But saying all wrestling fans are losers, even to a degree, is pretty much an untrue blanket statement.
