Uhhh... any reason WHY Mary Kate was banished? Only reason anyone gives is that she was seen talking to Feinstein. Makes me wonder if it's going to be the new "don't ask" deals along the lines of the Homicide/Maff incident (again, if you don't know, don't ask, you won't get a complete answer).

A lot of ROHbots have become losers. Not all of them, but many seem to fall under at least some of the following criteria:
- going broke buying DVDs when they need to pay for their education - saying that a wrestling-emphasized promotion would draw huge money and ratings (NEWSFLASH: the 55 minute Cena vs. HBK match from London DECLINED in ratings as the match progressed) - thinking that "state of the art tag team wrestling" is built around doing a bunch of moves and flippy dos and not having any regard with the "less is more" and building up heat mentalities - calling Nick Dinsmore a loser for coming up with a whacky gimmick. God forbid someone want to make it on the main roster and get some great paydays. - CENA IS TEH SUXXORS!!!

For some reason, I read that as Homicide/Zach Braff.

Jericho calls ROH fans losers. I really enjoy the wrestling in Ring of Honor, but let's be honest. Ring of Honor fans are losers." He asked Dave how many people were there and Dave said about 350. Jericho said that since WCW used to run some of their pay-per-views from there when he worked there, he knew it was a reasonably sized arena. He asked what the capacity was. Dave said about 13, 000. Jericho: "Now, don't you feel like a loser for being there?" Meltzer: "Yeah, kind of." Jericho: "Yeah, because that's what Ring of Honor fans are: losers." Once again, he didn't call ROH fans losers, you misheard it....

- saying that a wrestling-emphasized promotion would draw huge money and ratings (NEWSFLASH: the 55 minute Cena vs. HBK match from London DECLINED in ratings as the match progressed) to be fair, a 55 minute Cena match is not the same as a 55 minute Samoa Joe, CM Punk or Bryan Danielson match

I shudder to think about the ratings of an hour long match on national TV from the three ROH icons you listed.

The numbers would have declined no matter who was in it.

I'm not discussing match quality. I'm referring to the fact that a good match, no matter how good it was, when it goes on for over 30 minutes on TV, the people will tune out.

See, here's the problem: You're looking at it being a case of a wrestler with an unrealistic style versus three wrestlers with semi-realistic styles, whereas the matter of the decline in ratings is really due to the fact that the wrestling television audience isn't conditioned to sit through a match for that length of time. The England match was for a specific portion of the fandom, hence the casual viewer- who tunes in for the shock moments of wrestling rather than the simulated competition- tuned out.

Read the Radio Clash postings, he's doing a far better job of making my point for me.

His "haters" go to arenas and watch to boo him/see him lose.

His "haters" go to arenas and watch to boo him/see him lose. hence why they would not want to see him in a 55 minute match, not two other wrestlers having 55 minute match
