what killed it for me, and why ill never get into TNA fully, is this: TAG TEAM MATCH FOR THE WORLD TITLE. not a four corners, triple threat, etc, -- tag match. i will never understand this, so i dont think ill ever "get" TNA, as a whole. I don't see what the big deal is... It's wrestling. Belts are just props. Who cares how they're defended? Well, obviously you and a lot of other people do, but I just don't understand. eh, off topic a bit, anyone have a screenshot or gif of tenay right after he was yelled at by cornette? when he did the angry lip thing? didnt want to start a whole thread to ask Stolen from dvdvr. Man dude, don't disect everything like it's really serious. Maybe just sit back and watch some wrestling. If you do that, you may start actually enjoying yourself instead of trying to break everything down "smark style" all the time... Glad this has been pointed out. It's wrestling. This isn't real life. Not everything will make sense. Every promotion has flaws.

It was no worse than RAW but still not good.
Just way too much interference, it was like a Nitro throwback.
I hope MCMG start getting their heat back on 3D soon, beatdowns are getting old now.
Angle had some good moments but he was in too-man backstage segments. They are getting repetitive. Him getting the belt back was anticlimatic.
I liked the Storm/EY match. Storm/Kaz should be nice.
Fatu is a decent worker, let him work. He has a huge, cottage-cheese butt, we get it. Quit with all the big-butt spots and do straight matches. Occasional butt-spots are OK but not every match. His finisher was sweet.
Too much build-up of Sting/Angle without a payoff. I wondered why it wasn't the last match of the night, I should've guessed something screwy would happen.
Joe is obviously feuding with Roode. The upper-card rub didn't work for Chris Harris, will it work for Roode?
So who will win next in the "fight for the right"? Will we see Cage/Kaz, Fatu/Storm, or shake things up with faces/heels fighting each other. A Storm face-turn was teased a bit. How about Storm vs Cage? Kaz vs Fatu I just don't see.

Yeah, honestly. I don't get why TNA is held up under the microscope to the extent it is. The WWE can have leprechauns and exploding limos, but TNA can't put the world title up for grabs in a tag match?
I don't disrespect the opinions of those who feel this way, but I don't necessarily understand them either.

The second one is now my wallpaper. That's GOLD. It reminds me of 2000 WCW, near the end of Russo's stint in the fall, when he rewrote Tenay's character as a snippy little asshole.

Here's a few: MCMG lose: "They're jobbing and getting buried! Go home to ROH! " Jaime Noble squashed: "He isn't jobbing! He gets to be on TV every week!" Nash & Angle stuff: "This is so boring. Boo! Boring!" Honswaggle/Santino: "LOL! Oh, this is so great! Santino is God! Honswaggle is comedy gold!" Rikishi: "He's such a fat loser! Go away!" Big Daddy V: "Awesome heel! Look at that third nipple! It's hypnotizing me!" TNA Commentary: "It's so lame! Shut them up! SHUT THEM UP!!!" WWE: Commentary"GAMEBALL, MAGGLE! FRUITY SKITTLES! JOEY NUMBAS! WOO!" Eric Young acts paranoid: "UGH! That damn Eugene ripoff. Acting retarded....." Festus being.....Festus: "God, that is great. BISCUITS & GRAAVVVVYYYYY!!!!!!!!!"

I would like to throw a few responses out. Someone obviously doesn't read the WWE section of the board. Here's a few: MCMG lose: "They're jobbing and getting buried! Go home to ROH! " Jaime Noble squashed: "He isn't jobbing! He gets to be on TV every week!" Isn't Noble doing a comedy gimmick right now? Tarnations and such? Comedy gimmicks usually don't pick up many wins, because they don't need them for the crowd to notice and react to them. The last uproar about MCMG losing was to VKM in 90 seconds. Losing to VKM in 90 seconds is worse than losing to the Undertaker in 90 seconds. That may just be me, though. Because the whole show revolves around Hornswoggle and Santino? Because during other matches JR randomly says, "Can you believe that Santino is talking about Austin that way!"? I've like the Angle/Nash stuff, but TNA seems to pound it into the ground. Kind of how WWE beat BDJ into the ground with his numerous sketches. However, Angle/Nash is a main event angle, which causes some people to judge it more harsh. Hmm...reinvented character or same act ripping off a popular act? Also, V was on the scene first and can actually do a match without gasping for air halfway through. Plus, V hasn't humped anyone since removing his shirt. Fatu is still pushing his butt into people's faces. That's what causes me to not like Fatu. Look at the avatar...I think I can admit some bias to the points just presented... anyway...moving on... Wow, you threw that one right in everyone's face. RIGHT IN THE FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!!!! IFYOUDONTLOSETHIS...YOUHAVENOSOUL!!!!! "The Man formerly known as...." Yes. People make fun of WWE's commentary, as well as TNAs. At least WWE announcers don't speak during EVERY SINGLE PAUSE! I never understood the Eugene comparisons in regards to EY. Seemed like people stretching for things to complain about. Come on, though. What's wrong with Biscuits and Gravy? Wonderful theme. I like how TNA's women division is pushed as an amazing thing, but it seems rather limited right now, but there are people claiming that it has already surpassed the WWE's division. Having talent and using it are different things. TNA should learn that... Anyway, some WWE bias that I've noticed: --Complaints that Sting is "over-the-hill" as Undertaker enters into another World Title feud. --TNA lacks motivated booking when WWE shamelessly takes the "Noble v. Hornswoggle" jokes and change them to Noble Coach v. Hornswoggle" with the Acme stuff. They built to the stuff with Noble, but just randomly through it out there with Coach. The booking should've been more motivated. --The Roode/Young storyline is currently being refed to the public via Miz/Kelly/Balls, but with 1/4 the outrage. I'm a huge ECW fan, but this story is 50/50 with me right now.

I always cringe when people go on about the "prestige" of fake championships. If the Stanley Cup was decided in a 4-way tornado football game, it would be a disgrace. A writer deciding which actor gets to wear with belt, makes no difference.

I can't really speak for everyone. I've never dissected an episode of Impact trying to figure out what's good and what isn't. I think the entire thing sucks for one simple reason. On the occasional Thursday that I decide to give them a chance, I end up rolling my eyes and grabbing the remote within five minutes. Every time.
It's not a long-winded explanation. It's really not even a good critique. But that's why I think they suck.

I like TNA and haven't watched it in about 3 weeks for various reasons.
It's good to know everyone that hates it are still tuning in every week and watching the full 2 hours.

It seems like some people are pro WWE and will therefore always hate TNA. Likewise there are some people who are pro TNA and love everything on it without question, while saying that WWE sucks. I don't see why people can't just treat it all the same amd judge individual items on their own merits. For example, I think Raw is pretty awful right now with a few exceptions. But I am not going to say that I hate WWE, because I do like Smackdown/ECW. Conversely there are definitely things I really like in TNA right now, but a lot of it is unwatchable to me.
Pertaining to the episode of Impact being discussed in here, I made it about 25 minutes in before I turned it off. The announcers spent the entire first 3 matches hyping Sting/Angle. By the time we got to that 3rd match, I seriously got sick of hearing about it and said Screw it. I turned it off, and turned TNA back on when there was about 20 minutes to go. I saw Abyss getting killed for the umpeenth time, and Tenay and Cornette yelling about who is the champion which turned out to be Angle.
My opinion is that TNA could really stand out, if they would just try to stop emulating so many of WWE's bad qualities. Yes WWE has poor announcers, so TNA should try to be different and find some announcers who are lively and knowledgable, but not hyperactive shilling machines.

First of all, you need to learn how to proofread. Now while I actually agree with you on most points, you need to chill out. If you don't like it, don't watch. I don't.

TNA has gotten that about 65% of the time. Of course, that is why I mainly watch MMA these days.

"angle, you dont like nash? well try teaming with him!!!" oooohhh "sting, you team with---" "no, ill pick my partner"oooohhh the way the angle/sting feud has been built, the title is irrelevent to their matches, its more personal at this point. they might as well make it hair vs hair match (well, if angle had any), for all that any of it matters to the feud. nash, angle, and sting have issues with each other. just put em all in a ring and let em fight it out. everything doesnt have to have a "zany" gimmick to it. and if the belts mean nothing to the storylines, just get rid of them, altogether. and like i always post about TNA, i like their matches, and more than the WWE at this point. edit: look at the eddie/benoit celebrations after they won belts, and tell me "it doesnt matter"
