Now look, I love ROH, I really do, and I wouldn't change a thing, I love it.
But what I think that ROH really could use that ECW had is a Joey Styles-esque personality to talk us through the storyline. Like for the video wire, have a guy update us on storyline stuff, not a full report, just enough so new fans can catch on, and buy tickets/ppv/dvds?
What else did ECW have that made it great? Would it be helpful for ROH to try some of those things? Is this a dumb discussion?

ROH had that fat guy. You know....the fat guy. The one who overreacted to everything. I think you know who I'm talking about.

When they started out doing the Video Wires, they would have various wrestlers host it, but they scrapped that. A Joey Styles type personality could work I guess.
I do think one thing that helped ECW a lot was the Pulp Fiction promos and something like that could help ROH in terms of storyline advancement and such. A little segment for players in all types of feuds can play to put over the storyline, add character, have backstage segments, etc. Everyone gets some time and could definitely help out

I kind of wish that they would use Prazak and Leonard for purposes other than commentary on the DVDs (i.e. Video Wire, InDemand Free Preview Videos). I do agree, they do need someone (or several people) to be "the voice of ROH".
By the way, can we please get rid of Rebecca Bayless...her commentary is terrible!
"A.a..a..alright.....(looks up to the producer)....uhh...lets get to show."

It was like a commercial-length recap of story lines.

good wrestling announcers are hard to come by. Steve Corino is great. Corino was a one of the better qualities of early ROH(and I actually like early ROH a lot more than some people). Too bad they never could find him a good PBP man. I'd like to hear a Corino/Prazak team.

I'd actually gotten tired of luchadores in the last few years and I read Gabe isn't really a fan of the style. Besides, they got Quack and some Chikara guys, those're the closest to luchadores they got and do quite well for themselves

Besides, they got Quack and some Chikara guys, those're the closest to luchadores they got and do quite well for themselves I don't know what to say for someone that gets tired of a pure wrestling style and one of the oldest ones in the world. I agree with more luchadores. ROH can't pretend there isn't a latin market. And no, Rocky Romero doesn't cater to that market. He does a Indy Pseudo puroresu style. AND STOP CALLING CHIKARA LUCHA. Its not lucha. What Davey Richards is to Puroresu, Mike Quackenbush is to Lucha. I'd make alot of roster cuts to get Mistico, Perro Aguayo Jr in the U.S. And if they don't want to deal with CMLL, they should get Ricky Marvin.
