I give them no credit when it comes to Test or Rikishi. They should have never been given jobs in the first place. I agree now. Since they were WWE guys I had never seen them before so I was like, "Ok I'll give them a chance and not just dismiss them as WWE rejects." They sucked, they got fired. They had fewer than 10 appearances combined. That's the thing. You never can tell who can improve tremendously (See, Tomko, Travis, Morgan, Matthew, etc.) and whom can never change no matter what (See, Martin, Andrew, Fatu, Solofa). TNA gave these guys a chance. Some impressed us, some took it for granted, everyone got what they deserved. Now then...I wonder who can take Fatu's place in the upper mid-card... Say, is Jimmy Rave doing anything special?

The thing about Matt Morgan that I will argue till I'm blue in the face is that he didn't need to improve tremendously. WWE dropped the ball on his end, and I hope TNA eventually takes advantage of him because he has the skill set to be a main eventer.

Jimmy Rave doesn't have a single upper mid-card quality. He's an X-Division for Lifer a la Chris Daniels and Chris Sabin. Only A.J. Styles was good enough to rise above the X-Division, and that's only because he's the most innovative, exciting North American worker since R.V.D. blew up in the mid-90's.

- This wasn't reported in the original iMPACT tapings report, but taped last night for Xplosion and TNA Today was The Motor City Machine Guns defeating Voodoo Kin Mafia in a match that saw Roxi's interference backfiring on VKM and costing them the match. - It's believed that Matt Morgan will take over tonight at the TNA iMPACT tapings as on-air Acting GM while Jim Cornette is absent. Cornette is taking some time off to marry his long-time girlfriend on Halloween. The company has been impressed as of late with Morgan's ability to cut promos as well as the reaction he receives from the TNA crowd. -That's cool that MCMG won. However, seeing as how this is the second time Roxxi cost them the win, I can see Roxxi & VKM splitting up, possibly in an ugly fashion. -Wait. Jim Cornette has a girlfriend? I thought he was already married.

Here is a more detailed set of spoilers:
DETAILED TNA IMPACT SPOILER REPORT by Lex in Orlando @ 11:52:50 AM on 10/30/2007
TNA Impact Spoilers
Kurt Angle comes to the ring with Karen and cuts a promo on how its going to be 3 on 1 at the PPV cause his partner is even after him. Kurt says he is going to be doing some interrogating tonight to find out who Sting's mystery partner is. Sting comes out and says that his partner is a former WWE and WCW world champion and its someone who doesn't like Angle very much. Angle says "How can you not like me? Everyone likes me." That leads to Nash coming out. Nash says that he doesn't like Angle. Sting and Nash take turns punching Angle before he bails. Fight for your Right Semifinal: Kaz Def. James Storm. It was a pretty short match. After the match, Eric Young comes to the ring with some beers and he and Storm take turns drinking. Uhhh I guess Storm may turn face. Team 3D comes to the ring with shirts that say "X-Sux". Brother Ray starts running down the X-division and says that the Internet can complain all they want about how the X-division is use, but he doesn't care. They say they are going to destroy the X-Division because they can. Motor City Machineguns come out on the face ramp. Alex Shelley begins to run down Brother Ray. He says Brother Ray is scared of a low carb diet. He is also scared of his arch nemesis X-ercise. They go back and forth and Ray tells D-Von to get the tables. D-Von can't find any and we see Havok and Elix Skipper with one and Daniels and Senshi with another. As Team 3D looks at them, Petey Williams, Sonjay Dutt, and Shark Boy attack from behind. Team 3D gets the upper hand but then the rest of the guys come down and get the upper hand on 3D. They set up the tables but Team 3D escapes before they get put through them. Awesome Kong defeated. Christy Hemme. Not much to say. short squash. Samoa Joe and Gail Kim defeated Ms. Brooks and Robert Roode. Whenever Ms. Brooks was in the ring Roode would yell at her from the apron and she would tell him to shut up. It ends with Gail pinning Brooks. After the match Roode is yelling at Brooks in the ring and telling her she should quit. Gail Kim comes back to the ring and says she is tired of Roode treating Ms. Brooks like garbage and slaps him. Samoa Joe comes in and brawls with Roode. They take it to the crowd and a good back and forth brawl between Joe and Roode. While in the crowd the Shimmer girl tries to prevent Joe from hitting Roode. Both end up bloody and Joe was really busted open. Fight for your Right Semifinal: Christian Cage defeated Wildcat Chris Harris. Christian came to the ring with a ladder. The crowd was actually really behind Christian, which makes me believe there will be a lot editing. At one point Harris hits Christian with the Unprettier. Christian picks up the win with a rollup, grabbing the ropes for leverage. After the match Harris was trying to tell the ref that Christian held the ropes, but Christian slides in the ring with the ladder and hits him with it. He then climbs the ladder and nails a frog splash. Christian poses on top of the ladder. Kurt Angle was interrogating his wife in what was pretty funny with JB sitting there smoking a cigar. Nash walks in and tells Kurt he knows who Sting's partner is.......Scott........Scott Hall, because he'll be there next week. Main event AJ Styles & Tomko defeated LAX to retain the titles. A good match with Styles and Tomko picking up a clean win when Styles pinned Hernandez. After the bell they continue to attack Hernandez but members of the Latino nation (including the female) hand Homicide the slapjack and he runs them off. As Tomko and AJ head back up the ramp they are met by the Steiners and brawl. Xplosion: Motor City Machineguns Def. VKM when Roxxi accidentally spit mist in Kip James face.

So TNA's using Rain now for a Bobby Roode program? Meh. She's pretty, but she's not a great wrestler. Why not Daizee Haze? I think that the Haze is under ROH contract and can't work for TNA.

I think I'm probably the only one who is cringing at the thought of having Hall come back, for a few reasons: 1) I've never been a big fan of Hall. 2) Let's look at this: Total Non-stop Angle and Kevin Nash vs. Sting and Scott Hall. This reeks of over-pushed and/or long-past-their prime politicking veterans holding back the young talent. Couldn't they have come up with a better, younger choice for Sting to spotlight in the main event? Thereby, giving a great push to someone who is the future? 3) This has the potential to turn into another lame attempt at an nWo wannabe faction, with Hall, Nash and Angle. Sting gets laid out, Angle walks away with the gold, and once again the veterans take the spotlight with an angle that has been overused beyond death. (I really don't see Angle agreeing to being part of a faction that would hold him back, though. But wrestling today is no stranger to stupidity.) 4) This also has the potential to be a non-sensical Russo swerve, where Nash and Hall team with Sting to form a faction against Angle. It's a long, long, long, longshot, but with Russo, sense comes long down the line after shock value. If it's Booker T, don't even get me started on the whole 'bring in more veterans (read: 'WWE guys') so the younger talent can be buried some more' discussion. Well, at least they got rid of Fatu. That's a start. This isn't directed totally at your post, but some of the anti-Hall and Booker T in TNA sentiments. I realize that we're all entitled to our opinions on here, but in this case, I don't get some of the griping, especially when people bring up Test and Rikishi as examples backing up. Hall and Booker T actually still add positive value to a #2 national wrestling promotion. Test and Rikishi don't. That's the difference. That's just talking star power and recognition, but I'll also add that the modern day over-40 versions of Hall and Booker T could still out-work Fatu and Test in the ring, too, and put on more exciting matches with a wider variety of opponents. Right away, that makes Hall and Booker immediately cool additions to TNA. Scott Hall had decent matches when he was in TNA last time, and yes, he was old and fat then, too. As a bonus, he loves to job. Since people keep bringing up Test and Fatu, I think it's reasonable for someone to bring up that Scott Hall and Booker T were, are, and will always be miles better than Test and Fatu in every single aspect of performing in the business. When people gripe about TNA bringing in old guys, or ex-WWE guys, these are probably two of the worst examples of wrestlers (that fit both categories) to gripe about. Hell, TNA could've brought in Sid and Mideon. Or, Brian Christopher and Scotty 2 Hotty. Relax. It's just Scott Hall and Booker T, two of the top 15-20 biggest wrestling stars since 1995. (I don't think Hall will be around long, I think he's pretty much there for the short term to be cool and recognizable TV like Nash has. I could see Booker working full-time).

Roxxi is way better than to be hanging around VKM. She needs to get out on her own and make a play for the Knockouts championship.

So did Devine leave Mitchell's Island of Misfit Toys and turn face? was devine ever with mitchell recently? i don't think so. see devine is representing serotonin, which is now a tag team, and the other member joined mitchell. i don't believe devine was ever mentioned as being under the tutelage of father mitchell. plus his actions this week aren't so much heel or face as much as they are revenge.

I'm confused since Raven and Devine both ran in during a Black Reign match and West said something about Mitchell controlling Rhodes' mind as if we were supposed to know that already. I just hope Messias comes back quickly with a big eraser to fix this mess.
