TNA IMPACT SPOILERS by Mike Johnson @ 6:43:00 PM on 10/29/2007
Lex called in the following results from TNA's Impact taping in Orlando, Florida:
*TNA champion Kurt Angle did a promo inside the ring promising to learn who Sting's partner is at Genesis. Sting says his partner is a former WCW and WWE World champion who hates Angle. Kevin Nash comes out and beats up Angle.
*Kaz beat James Storm in a Fight for the Right semifinal.
*Team 3D cut a promo running down the X-Division. The Motor City Machineguns run them down on the mic. 3D get into it with them and go under the ring to get tables but they are nowhere to be found. The X-Division (XXX, Sonjay, Havoc, Shark Boy, etc.) attack 3D, bring tables from backstage and lay them out.
*Awesome Kong defeated Christy Hemme.
*TNA Women's champ Gail Kim & Samoa Joe defeated Ms. Brooks & Robert Roode. Roode blames Brooks for the loss and goes after her. Gail Kim and Samoa Joe make the save. Joe and Roode brawl into the crowd. Lots of blood and a good brawl which saw Roode's "fan" (Rain from SHIMMER) try to get involved.
*TNA announced Junior Fatu would not be there tonight. (Note from Mike: I'm waiting to confirm but I believe he's done. Stay tuned). Christian Cage will face a mystery opponent.
*Christian Cage defeated Chris Harris in a Fight for the Right semifinal. After the match, Cage attacked him with a ladder and a top rope frog splash.
*Kevin Nash tells Kurt Angle that he knows who Sting's partner will be and he'll be there next week....Scott Hall.
*TNA Tag Team champions AJ Styles and Tomko defeated LAX. After the match, members of the Latino Nation ran off the champions, who then brawled with the Steiners.

Sounds good so far. I like Kaz & Storm, so either one works for me.
However, is the plan to let Kong destroy the entire woman's divison? Oh well, as long as she looks impressive.

Fatu gone? Well if it is true...maybe he shouldn't have asked for more money.

Thank god no more Fatu (hopefully) but, other than that the first hour sounds bad. A Roode/Joe feud just sounds like crap.

It's awesome that 3D got jumped and whatnot, but I hate that it took the entire X-Division to do it. What is Team 3D supposed to be...Great Khali? I was never a fan of these large-scale beatdowns in any promotion.

I'd say that's incentive enough to play a little game with them(removing the tables) and then beat them down using their own methods.

Wow...this actually sounds like a good Impact. You've got 3D getting beat down, Fatu is apparently gone, and the implication is it is indeed Booker.

Yeah, they can all take 3D collectively, but singularly they're a bunch of p***ies. If just 2 guys came in swinging chairs or something, that wouldn't be so bad, but do you really need that many guys to take out just 2? The 'no tables under the ring' bit was awesome though. (And this isn't against TNA booking....I didn't like these situations in ANY promotion, because it usually ended up with the bigger group looking weak)

You may see it like that, but I see it as all the trash talking, beat downs, and all the crap the Division had to deal with coming to a head with the X-Division going "you want to the destroy the X-Divison? Well, the X-Division is gonna destroy you!" and all those emotions coming to a head via a group ass kicking on Team 3D Kinda like what WWE did when the whole RAW roster beat the ever loving crap out of Triple H on one episode, when "The inmates ran the asylum". I loved that segment.

Just wanted to get that outta' the way before someone else said it... Eh, I just never liked these things. OK, so you 6+ guys can take them, but what happens when they catch you alone? Now you're screwed, and it makes them look weak. Yeah, that was good, but I see this more as the ECW guys "uniting" and destroying half of the WWE's roster about a year ago (I think). Sure, it made them look badass again, but by themselves they were nothing but jobbers.
