So THAT'S why they ended such a great match with such a bulls*** ending. So they can make people to pay to watch it a second time with another bulls*** ending.

Say what you will. I actually gave them a shot this week. And I was absolutely loving the Christian/Kaz match. To the point that I wouldn't care who won, it was just a kickass match. And a helluva opener for a show. Better than WWE's given anyone for years. Then, not one but TWO guys ran in. And the match ended with a goofy ladder bump. Thus killing off all of the awesomeness I'd just witnessed, and prompting me to turn the television off. And I fully expect them to do it again this Sunday. I've said it before, but I'll stop being negative when TNA stops disappointing me every time I give them a chance.

I'm just sick of the endless run-in's TNA does. The TNApologists kept insisting they didn't happen as much these days, and the product was getting better. So, with nothing to watch after Smallville this week (I'm a Superman geek) and nothing else to watch, I decided to give Impact another shot. I figured, they're saying it's better. They're saying there's more clean finishes. It's worth a shot. If they can give me just a decent match for an opener, I'll stick with the entire show. Cue Christian/Kaz. And the match is the best one I've seen on TV in quite a long time. I thought, looks like I'm here for the duration, and hot damn if I'm not excited about it. Then Kaz suddenly dives out of the ring at some guy we can't see (thanks to TNA's stellar camera crew), and oh yea it's AJ. Then comes Tomko. Then comes the ladder...oh yea, a ladder, because a big bulky ladder is sneakier than brass knucks, a chair, or hell even a bag of powder (minor gripe really, could've over looked that). And we have the typical TNA ending I've b****ed about since I gave up on them in the first place. Like I said, if I wanted tired, overdone s*** like that, I'd watch WWE. The "future of pro wrestling" bares a stark resemblance to a cheap version of 1995-1997 WWF.

i am just happy that the match happened. it was a nice match and if they needed to use run ins in order to build up a ppv match between the two i am all for it. i wouldn't want either one to be pinned cleanly right before the big match either way because in my book it would take something away from the event if one guy is going into already having beaten the other fairly. i just don't think run ins are that big of a deal in this situation. granted they need more clean finishes, but i still don't think it needed one here and not seeing a clear winner there did not totally negate the great match that had taken place to me.

Well it did for me. I switched the show off and went to read a book. And I probably won't be tuning back in for another very long time. Not that TNA should really give a damn, since I don't have a Nielson box. I guess they'll be disappointed I'm not ordering Genesis, but I wasn't doing that anyway. I can think of several ways they could've done things here without pissing me off, not that it matters. I'm but one smarky fan out of many, and I'm not even the fan they care about. (Because of course they're appealing to so many mainstream ones...)

While I'm not thrilled with some of the booking choices made for Genesis, I still believe this will turn out to be a decent PPV. On with the predictions.
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Kurt Angle(c) and Kevin Nash vs. Sting and a Mystery Partner My money would be on Booker T for the mystery partner but I keep reading about Jeff Jarrett showing up. Either way, I don't see Angle losing the title. Even with a Scott Hall run in. Winner: Kurt Angle
TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal vs. “The Guru” Sonjay Dutt Are these two feuding? Is this really a match? Is Sonjay still employeed? I'm so confused right now. Winner: Black Machismo
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP AJ Styles and Tomko (c) vs. The Steiner Brothers Styles and Tomko are a great tag team and more importantly they're over with the crowd. The Steiner Bro. are showing more life than I could have predicted at this point. Should be a fun match. Styles/Tomko need to keep the belts as they can have a great feud with pretty much any team on the roster. Winners: The Phenomenal Problem Solvers
TNA WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP Gail Kim (c) vs. Roxxi Laveaux vs. ODB vs. Angel Williams I'm really liking this knockouts division. At this rate, it's going to have more credibility than the X-Division. Winner: Gail Kim
FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT TOURNAMENT FINAL LADDER MATCH Kaz vs. “The Instant Classic” Christian Cage I can't imagine Kaz as the #1 contender, but this match should do wonders for his standings in TNA. Don't know what I feel about an Angle/Cage feud though. Winner: Instant Classic
SHOP OF HORRORS MATCH Abyss vs. Black Reign Ugh. Winner: Abyss
“The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe vs. Robert Roode w/ Ms. Brooks Who did Joe piss off on the booking team? Winner: Samoa Joe
Team 3D vs. The Motor City Machineguns This is the match than could make or break the PPV for me. MCMG can be the new face of professional wrestling if they're booked properly. Losing to an over the hill pair like the Dudleys is not the way to do it. Winners: Sabin & Shelley...please

TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Kurt Angle(c) and Kevin Nash vs. Sting and a Mystery Partner I think it will be Booker, and I'll mark if it is. But this is a transitional Main Event, imo. Meaning, Angle won't lose the title. At least, I hope not. Winner: KURT ANGLE
TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal vs. “The Guru” Sonjay Dutt Should be a very good match. While it might not be the best thing for a title bout, throw-in matches are awesome. Especially when theyre good. This is my guess to open the show. Anyway, no chance Lethal loses. Winner: BLACK MACHISMO
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP AJ Styles and Tomko (c) vs. The Steiner Brothers Styles and Tomko are great together. I love it. Adding The Steiner Brothers to their list of defenses is a great notch in their belt. Beating them even moreso, and really, I cant see Rick and Scott taking the win here, especially since Scott manhandled AJ on iMPACT! Winners: AJ STYLES AND TOMKO
TNA WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP Gail Kim (c) vs. Roxxi Laveaux vs. ODB vs. Angel Williams I love that theyre treating the Division right. And adding credibility to Gail's reign before Kong finally comes along is smart. Winner: GAIL KIM
FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT TOURNAMENT FINAL LADDER MATCH Kaz vs. “The Instant Classic” Christian Cage Cage will likely win this match, but I'm extremely excited to see it nonetheless. Kaz and Cage seemingly have very good chemistry, if their match on iMPACT! is any indication. Adding a Ladder to the equation could be very, very good. Hopefully Kaz solidifies himself as a solid threat after a hard fought match here. Winner: CHRISTIAN CAGE
SHOP OF HORRORS MATCH Abyss vs. Black Reign Well... uh. Black hole slam onto tacks/glass! Winner: ABYSS
“The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe vs. Robert Roode w/ Ms. Brooks I love this. The only place up Joe could have gone after his feud with Cage is Angle. Been there done that... four times. I'm actually a huge Robert Roode mark, so im pumped for this. I think it will be an excellent match and am excited for a Roode push. (Yes, its a Roode push, not a Joe De-push.) Joe should take it though. Winner: SAMOA JOE
Team 3D vs. The Motor City Machine Guns The best actual feud of the lot. Team 3D have done a superb job of playing up their bully role during this feud. MCMG have looked good as well, costing 3D their match with the Steiners @ BFG, gathering the X Division to kick 3D's ass, and making the save for Lethal on this past iMPACT! If 3D takes this match, I wouldnt mind (even though the board would explode), because it would likely mean that MCMG would get the win next month. That said, 3D never beats anyone on PPV (LAX for the belts withstanding, but only after losing to them FIVE times.), so ill go with MCMG here. Winners: THE MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS

Top to bottom, it looks like a really solid card.
I just hope MCMG have a chance against Team 3D and aren't just killed.

As long as Kazarian wins, I'll be happy. as is... my predictions:
Angle - If Booker wins, I riot.
Machismo - Sonjay isn't ready to hold the title, and this match hasn't been built up to par with that of a match I want to see.
Gail Kim - That is, if Kong don't kill everyone else
PhenomeNO - Steiners have no right to hold the tag titles.
Kazarian - This is a personal preference. I doubt he'll win, but I want him to.
Abyss - I hate Black Reign, and Abyss is JTTS. Dustin is not a star.
Joe - even TNA can figure this out
Dudleyz. - you have to believe that the fued won't have its first match go to the faces.

TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Kurt Angle(c) and Kevin Nash vs. Sting and a Mystery Partner
Winner: kurt
TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal vs. “The Guru” Sonjay Dutt
Winner: the fans.....and black machismo
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP AJ Styles and Tomko (c) vs. The Steiner Brothers
Winners: stylesko
TNA WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP Gail Kim (c) vs. Roxxi Laveaux vs. ODB vs. Angel Williams
Winner: roxxi. i am probably just being really hopeful though.
FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT TOURNAMENT FINAL LADDER MATCH Kaz vs. “The Instant Classic” Christian Cage i say christian loses, which is why they made it a ladder match. christian has only been cleanly beaten once, so by making it a ladder match he can still brag about his unpinned once submitted record after losing this match. Winner: kaz
SHOP OF HORRORS MATCH Abyss vs. Black Reign
Winner: abyss
“The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe vs. Robert Roode w/ Ms. Brooks
Winner: samoa joe
