I don't know if anyone else has reported this, and if they have, then please lock this, but per the Wrestling Observer website:
Jon Hugger aka Johnny Stamboli was the mystery bodybuilder who blew mist at Abyss in the opener

Also, he has been renamed "Crimson Blood" which I think is a better character name than a stolen movie line.

A lot better than plain Mamaluke / Paisan Johnny the Bull.

A lot better than plain Mamaluke / Paisan Johnny the Bull. True. At least it's a new gimmick that's not "generic Italian guy" that he's been playing his whole career.

I've always liked Stamboli so it's good that he's getting a run in TNA. Does anyone know why WWE didn't pick him up after he had a tryout a few months ago I thought they were going to sign him?

I'll be honest, I thought they HAD signed him, which is why I was so surprised when I learned he was in TNA.

I hope this leads to Mitchell building an army of monsters like this. Make a stable with Black Reign, Crimson Blood, Havok, and like 2 other monster/evil type characters to fight Abyss.
It's so campy and 1998 that I think I like it. I like Crimson Blood's look, but the name sucks IMO.

I guess when Mesias returns, he'd work, but who else would you get to fill it out, because I love the concept.

I'd rather them keep continuity and keep Raven against Mitchell. Raven had a promo saying he wanted to face Abyss, so maybe they can become friendly foes who team up against Mitchell but then have their own program.

Hell no, I don't want him brought in just to be fed to Abyss. I want him to become his own guy in TNA, and do what others have done. Destroy abyss mercilessly then go on to fued with Rhino.

No....more....evil....monsters. Is 2 not enough? You have to have ANOTHER gimmick character in this feud? If this leads to another incredibly cheesy gimmick match or another late-WWF stable rehash...
I kinda' hope he sticks with "Redrum" though. "Crimson Blood" just sounds weird. As opposed to what? Green Vulcan blood?

How about your friend who always had that crappy freddy kreuger outfit? *Sorry, I'm having flashbacks to sleepaway camp 2* ;D

Crimson Blood, Black Reign, ...and a returning Judas Mesisas, rechristened as Gang Green.
They are THE RAINBOW OF DEATH.
