I actually really liked the first Nitro after their first Halloween Havoc pay-per-view. It was a lovable clustersmurf of a show with a lot going on. Amazingly, I still had a positive outlook for the future of WCW at this point. Little did we know just what Vince Russo had in store for us.

I loved that Nitro! Say what you want about Vince Russo, but he booked the nWo re-debut excellently. I remember on the Thunder the night after, they showed how they had it planned all along. If only Goldberg and Bret hadn't gotten hurt...

I thought that the first few Nitros with the "Powers That Be" were pretty good. After that, it was nothing but suck.
