pkShin, you seem like the man to ask this question and I won't have to make a new thread. How much does an import of KoC2 go for and would it work on a PS3? It's a fairly rare game, I got mine for about 50 dollars at Play-asia, used. It was the only one they had for sale so I had to jump right on it. It would not work on a PS3, the PS3 itself is region free, but PS2 games are still region locked. I bought a white slim NTSC-J PS2 solely for KoC2 and Sengoku Basara 2(got a couple games for it aswell, but didn't get the pS2 for it), that ran me about 150, importing is expensive, but honestly KoC2 makes it worth it, to me atleast.

I got the first one for the GBA. I have yet to find out how to win a match. Pretty much sucks if you ask me.

I am quite psyched for the game, but I too have never played Fire Pro before. If it's as good as (the majority of) you guys say it is, it sounds like a great alternative to WWE games.

I'll put it to you this way. Fire Pro is perhaps the only wrestling game that I've played where I don't actually feel bad losing in certain matches. Why, because I don't feel like I was cheated or the computer was given an unfair advantage. I makee a mistake, and the opponent takes advantage, and beat me. There have been more than a few matches where after I lost, I go "Well damn he was the better man."

It's MUCH smoother on consoles. I can almost pull off moves with my eyes closed. It's tough at first, but becomes second nature with time.
I HIGHLY suggest doing 1P vs 2P matches at first to get the hang of things. Alot of folks might get turned off at first, but give it time. It's so fricken rewarding once you get the hang of it.
You guys have it easy. I remember getting the first SFC game when it first came out and it took months till I figured out what to do. There were no faqs or translations anywhere. I thought it was a piece of crap until I figured out what to do..It was Wrestling bliss after that and I never turned back.
The coolest thing for me will be an English Edit mode. I never even messed with Edit on import copies.

What American game does the gameplay best resemble? or is there none? NES Pro Wrestling, if you haven't played either of the Game Boy Advance Fire Pro games.

No problem to me. The fact that it's a pixelated NOSAWA makes it even better. Can I bez Shannon Moore? Wait wait wait... Where's Nosawa?! But seriously, nuts to the noobs. They'll either get used to it and love it, or they can go eat a bowl of f***.

It's not even $20, it's $14.99. Here's hoping that Wal-Mart has it out in exactly 30 minutes.

No, the number one complaint is going to be the controls, because if you've never played KoC or Fire Pro and it's your first time, you're in for a surprise with the controls. Yup. I bought FP2 for GBA and it'll ensure I don't pick up any of more of the series. Sorry, but I don't like video games that I have to strangle in order to do the simplest things. Sorry if that makes me a 'n00b'.

I have the GBA Fire Pro games. Though I've never won a match, I have a blast playing it. It's not that hard to get used to. I wish I had a PS2 to get this new game.

Also, note the picture within the game rating. How true it is.
