Y'know what I hate about it? It's hard to f***ing find! Not at Wal*Mart, GameStop, or even the movie and game rental stores in town.... geez.... Guess I'll have to order it online. Y'know what I hate about it? It's hard to f***ing find! Not at Wal*Mart, GameStop, or even the movie and game rental stores in town.... geez.... Guess I'll have to order it online. Psy, remember...it ships today. Doesn't mean it'll be on shelves immediately. I talked to the guys at GameCrazy, and they said it'd be available Friday. Even then, if you're looking for it at a retailer, it still might be hard to find. Finding stuff like this is getting harder and harder on the first week. Hell, it took me 2 weeks to find a copy of Dethalbum, and when I did, they ahd a ton of them. First week, nothing. EB doesn't get it until the 23rd.

The thing about 'release dates' is that it's not always the day it ships, sometimes it's already in stores. When I worked in WalMart when we got a 'release date', it was out there and on the salesfloor at 12:01am.

smurf, I hate Amazon and their "LOLZ, 1-2 months shippingz". Also, the stores I've called haven't even HEARD of this game, let alone have a release date. Of course they're not going to have shipped it out yet. Their warehouses won't even receive copies until TOMORROW at the earliest....

That's only if it's an A#1 Guaranteed Bestseller type thing, where copies are shipped a few days ahead of time and the retailers are threatened not to break street date. An obscure game where at most maybe 1500 copies were even PRINTED like Fire Pro....that ain't gonna happen.

GameStop.com just said the game won't ship until the 23rd. They also did the same thing with King of Fighters XI, even though both companies have put out official press releases saying their games shipped today, and should be in stores tomorrow.
Very, Very odd....

I'm going to get this. I mean I know you can make just about any wrestler out there and have them all in one game with like any kind of match possible. I heard the game plays is the most realistic play in any wrestling game out there. Is that true? Best I've seen was No Mercy. I think the big turn away is the graphics to alot of people.

Imagine a 2d No Mercy with a similar yet slower gameplay. Now add freaking bunch of moves and custominizations. That´s Fire pro.

Cautionary Tale: The gameplay is like No Mercy just in the fact that it is more authentic as a wrestling experience and you can't go for the big power moves instantly. The grapple system is quite different, just to warn.

DVDs, CDs don't seem to have this problem. One thing I hate about Fire Pro is the submission system. At least from the GBA versions I could never play anything other than pin only since submissions come too quickly and no real build up.

Now I read the thread on FPR. I spent my evening looking for WSX and FPR. I thought it was just the fact that AZ sucks. Turns out, everything sucks.

Man, with all of these nightmare stories of people having to wait more weeks for the game, I gotta wonder if I'll actually get my copy this week. Thanks for paranoiding me out, you guys.

I have 1 more problem with FPW. Can I get a f***ing table for christs sake? I mean really, there's no excuse for that. I can have exploding barbwire, but a table? Naw, can't do that. But I'm sure the FPW-bots will justify it somehow.

Since it looks like a few of you missed it, as Squizz pointed out, you can order it from Buy.com for a whopping $8. I even threw in for one-day shipping since it's still less than buying it in stores. Thursday for me! Also, just in case there's anyone who can't quite decide if they want to purchase this game or not, here's Spiderman vs. T-Hawk in a shootfight. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsPbTcwzfl4There's so much awesome in that video that I have to go lie down.

Wait. I lied. Ronald McDonald vs. Colonel Sanders in a ring with the Corona logo on the mat. This is officially the best game ever created by humans.
