There are just too many for a poll.
I give the nod to Mark Henry as Sexual Chocolate: a Godfather tag partner sex fiend who ended up giving Mea Young a hand.

No, I'd say that was slightly less absurd than the mop thing. At least Henry's was plausible until he started nailing an old lady.

Lance Steel vs. Lance Steel. Absurd, pure Chikara wackiness that led to some great matches.

The Undertaker's "death & resurrection" at Royal Rumble 1994. omg i loved that as a kid. Even though I had nightmares afterwards. Of me running away from the undertaker who was tryin to put me in a coffin.

The Undertaker's "death & resurrection" at Royal Rumble 1994. This brings up a tough question for me. Does "Death & Resurrection" beat "time travel" in pro wrestling? Honestly, for me, it's too close to call on the absurd scale.

Jesus vs the Undertaker
Wrestlemania 24 retirement match.
One died for our sins.
The other died for buy rates.
One was put on a cross.
The other puts people on "SYMBOLS"

Lance Steel vs. Lance Steel. Absurd, pure Chikara wackiness that led to some great matches. Agreed. Everything involving Lance Steel could probably win this thread. And yet, it remains my favorite gimmick/angle thus far in pro wrestling!

And yet, it remains my favorite gimmick/angle thus far in pro wrestling! Indeed. Came out of the time machine, teamed with a pirate for a while, then teamed with a younger version of himself from the tim machine, then got sent back in time by his younger self, who turned heel as the black knight. God, I love Chikara.
