I'm pretty sure I've never seen anyone say they're a fan of Batista on this forum. I mean, usually if there's a terrible wrestler, they at least have a couple of fans somewhere! But poor Batista never seems to get any love from the IWC  So, you closet Batista fans, come out wherever you are!  |

I'll admit I enjoyed the angle leading up to his feud with Triple H... as well as his trilogy of matches with Trips.
Then they moved him to smackdown and he had to go at it on his own. Boy, was he exposed quickly.

Ring ability wise, while not great, he's not nearly as bad as people make out.
I can't stand his character though. At all.

I liked the character that Bats USED to portray and I like the heel that he COULD become.

He is the WHC. Supposed to be the man. But he pitched a fit Friday night when JBL payed no attention to him. If he was a heel, That would have worked, But being a face and whining because an announcer payed no attention to him was very funny.
Thats really all he is good for.

I've gone on to state openly that I like several of the IWC's most hated wrestlers, including Cena, Lashley, etc.
That being said, I may be the only individual on here who (still) likes Batista.
There. I said it.

He's okay to be honest. I never found him outstanding other than his old setup and finisher (Spinbuster and Sit-down Powerbomb). The feud with Eddie Guerrero could have been epic, but the death took a lot of momentum away from him. Finally, his match against 'Taker at WM 23 was decent.

He was fine then he would make some smart ass comment to Triple H. Then go to the ring and destroy someone. When he won the title it was pretty crappy from then on.

I like him I guess. My only problem has been the recent "Yes I've lost 20 straight title matches but I'm still owed another shot at MY title" thing. If they get away from that and either let him run with it a while or be distracted into another feud or two the next time he drops it it'd be better to me.
