Carnage beats Doom? Wow... just... wow.
I vote Dr. Doom, even if it is too late.

Carnage beats Doom? Wow... just... wow. On the bright side, it guarantees we will have a new champion this year.

The villain who has always got to the final has been beaten. Carnage takes down Doctor Doom (Waits for the inevitable backlash, lol) -------------------------------- Next up ... The Scarecrow - DC: The Scarecrow is an insane former professor of psychology/psychiatrist who uses a variety of drugs and psychological tactics to utilize the fears and phobias of his adversaries. He does not commit his crimes for wealth, but rather as a form of "research" to further study the effects of fear on humans, making the innocent citizens of Gotham his unwilling guinea pigs. Using a variety of toxins that cause his victims to hallucinate that their phobias have come to life, the Scarecrow can instill fear in all who see him. (Defeated Superboy Prime, Clayface and Mr. Freeze) vs Apocalypse - Marvel: Born over 5,000 years ago in ancient Egypt, En Sabah Nur is one of the oldest mutants alive, possessing a multitude of superhuman abilities, including the ability to both shift and alter his mass and form. Upon bonding with extraterrestrial technology, he was forever altered into something beyond mutant. Apocalypse is a Social Darwinist who believes in his extreme survival of the fittest philosophy: only the fittest have the right to survive — and he gets to define who is fittest. He considers himself as the fittest, and thus safe from his ideology. Apocalypse works behind-the-scenes, weeding out those he considers unfit through global war and conflict, including having manipulated mutants to battle each other, in order to "improve" mankind and ushering in the Age of Apocalypse. In several timelines, Apocalypse has established control over the world. His ambitions and goals has put him among the most fearsome and powerful villains in Marvel. (Defeated Brainiac, Sabretooth and Deadpool) I'm going with Apocalypse here, nothing against Crane but he isn't in the same over-riding bad guy league. (Although it is a pain finding a decent pic of him.)

Pooky.
And Carnage, the villain who has never been shown to be more than a semi cool design, beating one of the deepest of all time is utter BS.

Meanwhile in a complete squash Apocalypse sees off Scarecrow ----------------------------- Next ... Two-Face - DC: Two-Face was once Harvey Dent, District Attorney of Gotham City and close ally of Batman. After a criminal disfigured half of his face with acid, Dent became the insane crime boss Two-Face who would choose to do either good or evil depending upon the results of flipping a coin — a device which was taken from the 1932 version of Scarface. Originally, he was one of many gimmick-focused comic book villains, plotting crimes based around the number two, such as robbing Gotham Second National Bank at 2:00 on February 2. In recent years, writers have portrayed his obsession with duality and his criminal behavior as the result of multiple personality disorder and a history of child abuse. He obsessively makes all important decisions by flipping a two-headed coin, one side of which is scratched over with an X. In the novel Arkham Asylum he was seen being rehabiliated with a pack of cards giving him 32 choices, Batman observed that this left him unable to make even the simplest of choices. He was considered too gruesome for the 1960's TV show. (Defeated The Flash, Iceman and Black Panther) vs Sinestro - DC: A native of the planet Korugar Sinestro's dedication to preserving order initially led him to be considered one of the greatest Green Lanterns. As the years passed, he became more and more fixated upon not simply protecting his sector, but on preserving order in the society of his home planet no matter the cost. Eventually he concluded that the best way to accomplish this was to conquer Korugar, and to rule the planet as a dictator. When Hal Jordan joined the Green Lantern Corps, Sinestro was assigned to be his instructor. Jordan was horrified at his new mentor's fascistic methods, though Sinestro maintained that his iron-fisted rule was necessary to protect his people from alien forces. Eventually Sinestro's dictatorship was exposed and he was forced to appear before the Guardians for punishment. The Guardians banished Sinestro to the antimatter universe where he formed an alliance with the Weaponers and has plagued the Lantern corp ever since. Most recently he was seen leadin the Sinestro Corps, a villainous analogue to the Green Lantern Corps. (Defeated Mr. Immortal, Star Sapphire and The Mandarin) Two-Face may be deep, but his stories are few and far between (Except his origin) Whilst Sinestro seems to be coming back into his own as a main man. Sinestro has my vote.

This is one of the rare times I'll vote against a Bat-villian. Sinestro takes it.
