Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You UpIn the music video, Astley sings and dances to the song in various venues, sometimes interlaced with backup dancers. A bartender has a notable presence in the video, as his behavior gradually shifts from casually noticing Astley's singing to being fully engrossed in the song with energetic acrobatic moves. Venues range from a restaurant to several outdoor areas. Apparently the backup dancer to Astley's right in the bar did not know the moves to the song and lagged several seconds behind the other dancer, subsequently the director attempted to keep her out of the frame. Vs. Oingo Boingo - Weird ScienceWeird Science is a song that was written and performed by Oingo Boingo. It is the theme song to the Weird Science film and television series. It was released on the film's soundtrack, as well as Oingo Boingo's 1985 album, Dead Man's Party in a different version. The version on the soundtrack, the recording released as a single, runs 3:45 long. The version on Dead Man's Party is a much different arrangement, running 6:00. The song was also released in a dance mix on a 12-inch single. |
