Hi please help me
I would like to know what are the top 10 wrestling matches of all time?
The reason is that I would like to show some wrestling matches to a friend of mine (who doesn't watch wrestling at all) and I want to show him that wrestling is cool lol. But I can't really choose the top 10 myself because I didn't watched every ppv. I'm thinking about making a DVD compilation.
I was thinking about:
Mankind vs Undertaker (KOTR 98) Randy Savage vs Ultimate Warrior (WM7) Ric Flair vs Ricky Steamboat (Wrestlewar 89) Kurt Angle vs Undertaker (No Way Out) Austin vs HHH (NWO 01)
any other ideas?

Savage vs. Steamboat WM3 is considered to be an all time classic.
For pure technical wrestling, an early Benoit-Angle match is good

Whatever the greatest match is, I'm sure it involves that rascal Bryan Danielson.
And also Bret Vs. Owen from WrestleMania X.

(i never saw a match between them) I would pick Benoit Angle Royal Rumble 03..... Benoit Angle WM x-7 would be my second choice...

I like Bret vs. Piper from WrestleMania 8.
Also Jericho vs. Benoit Ladder Match from RR 01.
Yeah, it may be a tough sell showing how awesome a wrestler Benoit was before all his monkeyshines, but it don't change the fact he had some damn fine matches.

Liger vs. Sasuke from J-Cup 94
Funk vs. Cactus Jack, IWA King of the Death Match tournament (not great 'wrestling', but a cornerstone of the world of deathmatch wrestling)

btw was the final four match (Austin vs Bret vs Taker vs Vader) a good match?
does it deserve to be in my top 10?
btw I only want matches from WCW-ECW or WWE because the other matches (indys, Japan etc.) would be too hard to find

Unless you have another suggestion for a Macho Man match (I saw the matches against Steamboat, Flair and Hogan and I still prefer his match against the Warrior). Did Savage have any good matches in WCW? against DDP maybe?

Also anything luchador as the guy stated with the Eddie-Rey match from Halloween Havoc 97. And I kinda recall the Curt Hennig-Ric Flair match from World War III '97 being pretty good as well.

Even I, years and years later watching for the 100th time, finally broke down. A very emotional moment.

A great undercard match that was forgotten long ago is Pillman vs. Johnny B Badd from WCW Fall Brawl 95. Wasn't too long, and was the opening match, but it was a surprisingly great match, and a great way to open up a PPV.

Bret/Austin WM13. The match itself was great, yet the way it ended really propelled both men even further and Austin's bloody face reaching for the ropes while in the SharpShooter is one of the most memorable moments in WWF history.
