So what's everyone's favorite performance in a Royal Rumble match?
My personal favorite is Rick Martel from 1991. No one ever believed he'd win, but he did such an awesome job bouncing around the ring and making it seem like he would be eliminated at any moment that by the time he was knocked out of the match, I was pretty disappointed.

Mr Perfect in 2002 - great comeback. Benoit in 2004 - having watched that Rumble again recently, in spite of all that's gone on, it is really an awesome performance. Bushwhacker Luke in 1991 - superb.

DiBiase in 1990. He was my favorite at the time, and he drew #1 and almost went the distance.

Flair in 1992. I mean, come on.... winning the biggest all-star Rumble after drawing #3 (back when that meant something) AND the World Title?

You answered the question for me to start it off. It really doesn't get better than that. Benoit's performance was quite awesome, too. Though when it came down to he and Big Show, was kinda predicable.

Flair in 92 for obvious reasons and Demolition in 1989. They drew #'s 1 and 2 and beat the crap outta each other until #3 entered.

In a word: WOOOOO!
Flair in '92 has always impressed me. I really was expecting Hogan, Sid, Savage, heck anyone but Flair, especially with #3. Gotta respect it.
Also fond of DiBiase in '89 and '90 and Martel in '91. Great performances even if they didn't win the thing.

Flair in 92, Backlund in 93 was roflcopter, Terry Funk's drunken stupor in 97 (watch it and you'll see) is the single funniest thing I have ever seen in a RR match
