Why would WWE not acknowledge it if he won the qualifying match?

I'm hoping it will be like Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore qualifying for the Royal Rumble and not being apart of it. Hardy vs MVP has a huge backstory behind it, and it would be a great US Title defense as well.

Matts going to cost MVP the US Title, as well as the MITB match. Maybe they'll brawl to the back eliminating MVP from the match at Mania. Or maybe Matt will make his return at Mania to cost him. Either way, MVP is in MITB but won't win thanks to Matt.
Matt's probably just not healthy enough to return.

I'm still calling that it will be like MooreWang. Aside from not doing the logical Hardy/MVP at Mania, this means they will not be having a MITB qualifying match on TV, and it doesn't seem to make sense that they would give away a perfectly good TV match when they didn't need to.

Matt's probably just not healthy enough to return. Matt actually had a match at that same house show.

So no blow off to the Hardy/MVP feud? I suspect Batista to capture the US title soon then, hasn't he already beaten MVP like three times already anyways? To even things up, Umaga should take the Intercontinental title as well. At least Jeff can get rid of it. It's not like it was really doing him any good. Also, if Matt isn't added to Money in the Bank, I riot.

Well, I figured he would since he didn't have a feud at the moment.

Matt Hardy better be in the Money In The Bank Ladder or at least screw MVP out of winning and set up a match for those two to have later on.

Leave it to WWE to botch a slow build by booking one of the competitors in another match.

So no MVP/Matt Hardy at Mania? Looks like Batista wins the US title this week on SmackDown! Goddamn it! MVP doesn't deserve to lose the title this way!

Okay, so neither midcard title will be defended at Mania. Is the WWE even paying attention to them anymore?

Okay, so neither midcard title will be defended at Mania. Is the WWE even paying attention to them anymore? Yeah, I mean let's not include the fact that one of their biggest current stars is facing the US champ for the belt 2 weeks in a row, any excuse to LOLZ at the WWE... If these means Matt gets added as well, it will be a nice way to continue the feud, and there could be a nice spot where Matt helps Jeff win or some such thing.

I'd rather have Matt make Jeff lose and get that fued going. I'd prefer to see MVP at the top of the card on Smackdown before his inevitable drafting to RAW.

with only two spots left I would think CM Punk has a good chance to get one of them. He is over with the crowd, would work well in the MITB match. He could get another ECW title shot at mania but I think the WWE is not going that direction right now. Since he has lost to Chavo twice recently it would make more since for Chavo to defend against another person at mania(if the ECW belt is defended there at all) and have Punk win the MITB match thus giving him one more shot at the title. Punk could also do something to Shelton during the match that would cause him a shot at the case. this would set a nice three way war in ECW with the title changing hands between Chavo, Shelton and Punk enough times to jeep the ECW title chase interesting.

if they went with MVP/Matt Hardy at Mania we'd have nobody representing SD at MITB. either that or Chuck Pulambo
