Okay, so neither midcard title will be defended at Mania. Is the WWE even paying attention to them anymore? Yeah, I mean let's not include the fact that one of their biggest current stars is facing the US champ for the belt 2 weeks in a row, any excuse to LOLZ at the WWE... If these means Matt gets added as well, it will be a nice way to continue the feud, and there could be a nice spot where Matt helps Jeff win or some such thing. That can work, and it can lead to a match at Backlash. Does anybody think the E wants to have MVP keep the title long enough to beat Nikita Koloff's 328 day record, making MVP 3rd longest US champ in history? Might as well go beat Lugar's 523 day record. It would be a career note for MVP.

You dont think they might drop the entire MVP/Matt Hardy storyline altogether? It would really suck if that did happen but this is the E..And for the midcard titles, the IC belt hasent been defended at a wrestlemania for 5 or so years now hasent it?

I'm pretty sure that WWE will recognize this. Matt Hardy will probably also be in the MITB match.

i think kane might have a chance at MITB because if he wins he can cash it in agianst his (kayfabe) brother and win the WH title before retiring agian

Leave it to WWE to botch a slow build by booking one of the competitors in another match. I guess they believed that Matt didn't recover from his surgery soon enough to build the match. Which sucks. So if Matt isn't added to MITB, its a good bet that he does a run-in at some point to take MVP out of the match. This will set up Matt vs MVP at Backlash. Unless, of course, they've decided that MVP will get the briefcase this year.

I would rather have Hardy vs. MVP and put Morrison in the MITB. That is all I have been asking for all year. Morrison in MITB.

It boggles my mind as to why the WWE aren't making a Matt Hardy/MVP match for the US Title at Wrestlemania. It would be a perfect opportunity to end the feud and finally give Matt a well deserved mid-card title. Not to mention that a solid effort and well-built feud would probably elevate both men to or at least near the main event.
Maybe they think that the fans have forgotten to long, long build-up to another Hardy/MVP match?
If anything, they have to make the match sometime and not just blow off the feud. Judging by what's been happening at house shows, it does look like they're going in that direction.

come on kofi and elijah we need to see who is the most athletic once and for all It boggles my mind as to why the WWE aren't making a Matt Hardy/MVP match for the US Title at Wrestlemania. Not to mention that a solid effort and well-built feud would probably elevate both men to or at least near the main event. I don't get this Anger, matt Hardy has not yet made his return. You are all talking like he's predestined to face MVP at Mania this year, he was injured, then got Surgery. Better he stay out long enough so that he heals COMPLETELY, then risks injuring himself further by returning too soon. Like they have already built the match with he and Hardy to wrestlemania, had matt not been injured sure, but as of Now Matt Hardy hasn't returned to the active TV roster. Just my two cents, as I think Backlash would be a better way for Hardy/MVP to get some good match time. Oh and Please we need Elijah and Kofi in this NOW. So all the "Athletes" can do "Athletic One-upsmanship" just to see who is the best athlete in WWE. Oh and PErsonally I'm hoping for Kane/Chavo ECW title, with Kane winning the ECW title off of Chavo.

I agree with those who are saying that it's pretty much just that WWE isn't going to put Matt in a match at WM.
Which would explain why he's only doing house show appearances and isn't on TV yet.
