Somehow I figured you'd be someone to agree with me. At least someone does. I always have and always will think the idea of "growing up" is silly, and honestly immature. Amen, sistah. Er... yeah. This is probably why I'm 28 and most of my friends are in the 18-23ish range. Is anyone really going to suggest Jeff's life doesn't have to change somehow? When I say 'grow up' I don't mean get a big house, proper haircut..etc. But start thinking about his life and his health. Great as they are, he really shouldn't be doing 20 foot senton bombs, or jumping off ladders....not if he still wants to be able to walk in 10 years. He can't keep popping pills all the time, either. I think he should start taking a little responsibilty for his actions and stop living like an irresponsible teen.

But not taking drugs really isn't a part of "growing up" so much as it is "treating your body right." Just my two cents.

I'm willing to admit that I did laugh
But it's more of a shock laugh than anything else, simply because his run of luck recently, not that I actually found it humorous
Hopefully, things brighten up for him, last year was a terrible year for me (about 20 major problems) so he's gotta look forward.
Also another thing that crossed my mind, that wouldn't possibly happen, but that he might've caused it on purpose in order to get back on good terms with WWE, not that this has any possibility of happening.

www.wrestlingobserver.com/wo/news/headlines/default.asp?aID=22351Just days after being suspended for 60 days, Jeff Hardy got more bad news when his home in Cameron, NC, burned to the ground last night. Hardy and his girlfriend weren't home when it happened, but virtually everything Hardy owned was destroyed and he lost his pet dog. No other details are available at this time. No cause of the fire has been determined. poor doggie, dang it sucks when you lose your home and possessions. I really hope Jeff wasn't an idiot and got house insurance... Things just aren't going his way, maybe this is the kick in the ass he needs to shape up.

Pay attention folks, this is a prime example of what not to say in threads like this. I wasnt making fun of the guy. He's got my condolences, and i feel horrible about what has happened. But i just remember internet rumours for years that he was gay, something involving the towel he used to wear in his back pocket, If that made people gay, Raven, Sandman and a bunch of ECW/WCW guys would be gay. Raven started the sweat/snot rag, then Sandman stole it in WCW and it spread it both promotions. Also another thing that crossed my mind, that wouldn't possibly happen, but that he might've caused it on purpose in order to get back on good terms with WWE, not that this has any possibility of happening. How exactly could he do this from Rehab? Unless he's in the type Lindsey Lohan and Britney Spears check into, there is virtually no communication with the outside world.

People keep saying I hope he "pulls an Eddie", I don't.
i hope Jeff Hardy rises from this like Shawn Michaels rose up from his addictions and attitude problems.

Oh my god. He's got enough money to replace things like TV's and DVDs and clothes, but he can't replace family pictures or his poor dog. I feel terrible for Jeff.

For some odd reason, after no visible mainstream coverage about this on any North Carolina websites, I'm thinking it could be a sick rib from Matt & Jeff for being left off Wrestlemania/suspended. Yes, because Matt is stupid enough to pull a stunt like that. Matt has a thing for "creating controversy", but somehow I don't think he'd make something like this up. I imagine that he'd get in quite a bit of trouble if that were the case. It is kind of odd that no details have emerged yet. Meltzer posted an update that there was a "forest fire", so its possible that there may have been a trash fire that re-ignited or something of that ilk. Again, I'm glad they are both okay and hopefully this is a major wake-up call.

I wonder why WWE.com won't acknowledge that. They don't even have the news up on Industry News.

Wow...that f***ing sucks bad. I'd sure love to hit the sauce if I were him, but at the same time maybe he'll take it as a sign. "A New Beginning". You know how artsy Jeff is.

Say what you will about Jeff's decisions as of late, but nobody deserves this. I just hope it wasn't arson.
