Wouldn't be Gary Cappetta as that show took place in 89

It's not Cappetta. I've only seen this guy on WWE's shows from Los Angeles, but his voice seems very familiar. He wasn't a full-time announcer for WWE, but a regional one.

Next month theme Is called pick your big month. In celebration of the 5th anniversary of WWE 24/7wwe classics the WWE universe gets to pick what the theme of the shorties section is, the big shows for the month, and the featured hall of famer. Supposedly there was a survey on the wwe forums a couple of months ago, but the winners are supposed to be a surprise.

This week's NWA show is a good one. It's a Horsemen heavy show, featuring a good match between Tully Blanchard and Brad Armstrong.
LOD vs The Rockers is on Shorties this week. Good little match that sets up Shawn's eventual heel turn.

I did watch the Halloween 2005 edition of WWE RAW on Classics on Demand last week, and they did not dub over Cactus Jack's real theme used in his promo unlike the WWF Raw is War '97-'98 episodes that used his 2nd WCW theme instead. Also, they dubbed Ashley's first theme with her "Light a Fire" theme during the Halloween Costume contest.
I just came back here from watching WWF RAW and WCW Monday Nitro from its December 4, 1995 airdates, and once again the WWE skipped Scott Norton's entrance before The Giant vs Scott Norton match on Monday Nitro. I will watch the Monday Night War 12/11/95 tomorrow to look for more differences.

NWA Wrestling 2/14/87 (looks like 2/7/87 is being skipped) The reason that episode is skipped is because that week instead of a normal episode of World Championship Wrestling, it was the Supertowns On The Superstartion special in that time slot.

This is also Tazz's last episode of ECW as the next one lists Dreamer as the co-host.

They showed a little preview for December. Looks like they are showing the 2008 Tribute to the Troops, Also looks like they are airing some of the older Troops shows.
On the down side...Once again they are airing that same damn Raw from Dec 97 that they have shown every single year.

On the new edition of The History Of ECW, with new co-host Tommy Dreamer, he takes the liberty to make fat jokes at the beginning. I love it.

The Dec 97 Raw is WWE's version of A Charlie Brown Christmas. It's tradition now.

Just watched the new episode of the History of ECW. I was really wondering when Tazz's taping cycle was going to end. I knew I'd miss him, but surprisingly, Tommy Dreamer makes for a very good co-host. I liked how he got his receipts against Tazz for all the fat jokes ("Fat Tazz Wrestling") and how Joey, upon recognizing that he and Dreamer are the last two ECW Originals left standing, comments that maybe they should go by the name "Future Endeavors" to which Tommy responds by basically saying, "Speak for yourself, I just signed a contract extension."
I love 24/7 (and I miss that name too - I'm not a fan of this "Classics" moniker).
Oh, and I'm extraordinarily pissed that we're apparently getting the 1997 Christmas edition of Raw. I swear, every December it's "Season's Beatings" with the same promo that goes roughly like "a season's excitement for young and for old/even St. Nick feels the wrath of Stone Cold" with a picture of him getting stunned. It's infuriatingly repetitive. I kinda wish every month was Pick Your Big Month.

Did anyone else mark when they saw Matsuda, but then realized that Orton couldn't possibly face an anime character?

I love how Kofi's pre-Shorties segment intro still has him speaking in the Jamaican accent.

January's theme is: All January on WWE Classics On Demand, relive “The Decades” featuring great shows from over a half-century of wrestling on television. That's so tight. I love how Kofi's pre-Shorties segment intro still has him speaking in the Jamaican accent. I noticed this too. With the recent introduction of a non-accented speaking voice, this segment made me realize two things: a) I'm SO glad they dropped it. b) Kofi was actually really good with the accent. (Still glad they dropped it though) One more thing I noticed from recent classics uploads is just how small a lot of the venues WCW ran Nitro from were. They're big, but they don't seem any bigger than my local sports arena in the sense that the higher seats only go back a few rows and the roof is usually easily visible and low, which makes the places look even smaller. I've noticed this in at least four separate episodes. Compared with WWE's venues, anyway. But then, I guess they got all the really huge places locked into exclusivity contracts. This isn't to say that WCW didn't run out of huge arenas, but it seems like a lot of their Nitros were from really small places, no bigger than some of the places TNA runs their non-Orlando PPVs at. I guess everything seems bigger when you're a kid.
