On the latest episode of Monday Night Wars: The Beginning...THERE'S A BENOIT SIGHTING! For the first time in God knows how long, they're actually showing Chris Benoit on camera! There's an in-ring segment between the Horsemen and the Dungeon of Doom.

January's theme is: All January on WWE Classics On Demand, relive “The Decades” featuring great shows from over a half-century of wrestling on television. That sounds like it has high potential for radness.

Also on that same edition of MNW:TB, is the very first match between The Undertaker and Kane. Plus, The Ringmaster's first WWE match.

January's theme is: All January on WWE Classics On Demand, relive “The Decades” featuring great shows from over a half-century of wrestling on television. That's so tight. I love how Kofi's pre-Shorties segment intro still has him speaking in the Jamaican accent. I noticed this too. With the recent introduction of a non-accented speaking voice, this segment made me realize two things: a) I'm SO glad they dropped it. b) Kofi was actually really good with the accent. (Still glad they dropped it though) One more thing I noticed from recent classics uploads is just how small a lot of the venues WCW ran Nitro from were. They're big, but they don't seem any bigger than my local sports arena in the sense that the higher seats only go back a few rows and the roof is usually easily visible and low, which makes the places look even smaller. I've noticed this in at least four separate episodes. Compared with WWE's venues, anyway. But then, I guess they got all the really huge places locked into exclusivity contracts. This isn't to say that WCW didn't run out of huge arenas, but it seems like a lot of their Nitros were from really small places, no bigger than some of the places TNA runs their non-Orlando PPVs at. I guess everything seems bigger when you're a kid. I noticed that too. It was weird seeing George Steinbrenner sitting front row in this crappy barn like arena.

The new Legends of Wrestling roundtable on pro wrestling in the South is very good. Joey Styles is the host, with J.J. Dillon, Michael Hayes, Jimmy Garvin and Jim Ross.

Yeah, I only see a small portion of what it should be.

Has WWE 24/7 been acting strange for anyone else this month? I mean by small or partial updates (the only match I have under the shorties section is RVD vs. Stone Cold, for example).

Yep, that's the only match I have also. Hell, there were a few days when the Shorties section wasn't there at all! And in the Legends bucket, all I'm seeing is the Verne Gagne HOF documentary and something called "Best of WWE Volume 1." I don't know if it's a problem with WWE not providing the content or the cable companies not downloading it correctly, but I really wish both sides would get their stuff together.

In the past when they made mistakes like this, it was usually fixed by the next update. This is the first time in a long time when they nothing seemed fixed even though they updated.

From WWE's On Demand front page Thank goodness. I was wondering where all my content was.

I was also wondering why I was getting 'Spring Stampede 1997, part 2' (total runtime 7 mins.)

There still seems to be some VQ issues with some of the stuff on 24/7 I've noticed it, epecially on older shows, the frame-rate looks like it's a little bit slow (like watching a sub-par quality DVD-R recording). I wonder if they've converted some of their old tapes to a new digital format. That could explain it/

Looks like this month is in TV Classics is territories (SMW clip shown) and Shorties is all Muta matches. On the Territories graphic, they have OVW on there, but have they ever actually put OVW clips up? I'd love to see some "Before They Were Stars" kinds of things. Speaking of which, right now has the 2002 Fourth of July edition of Smackdown, which has John Cena and Batista's second match on TV.
