Ok, heres a challenge for everyone here, rewrite the plot of batman and robin. You still have to keep the same characters and actors though.

Boo urns, the original is a campy as hell trainwreck of hilariously fun proportions!

Okay .... first off the guy who played Bane will now play a plant like monster that Ivy creates to help her.
Start with Batman & Robin investigating a disturbance at a research facility, they discover Poison Ivy trying to bring the business down due to there enviromental damage, Ivy escapes deleting a lot of the financial records of the company in the process, thanks to her feminine wiles and Plant Monster beating up Robin distracting Batman.
This act causes the company to have to cut funding, including victor Fries cryogenics research to save his wife. Cue accident as the confrontation turns him into Mr. Freeze.
Meanwhile Barbara Gordon shows up, maybe starts up a little romance with Dick Grayson, which will eventually lead to her discovering Bruce and Dick are batman and Robin.
Poison Ivy threatens to turn the whole of gotham into a rain forest, unless they stop damaging the enviroment. Batman gets on the case, plus interferes in Freeze attempting to take equipment for his research.
Mr. Freeze is seen bemoaning the heartlessness of Ivy and the Batman. the jungle starts to take hold and the heat rises.
The climax invovles Ivy and her plant monster being beaten by Robin and Batgirl (with an assist from Mr. Freeze who attempts to get revenge on Ivy for causing his wifes plight, he then freezes batgirl and robin )Batman then intervenes as he had been busy trying to stop the jungle spreading, and we have a final Batman vs Mr Freeze battle with the end having batman outsmart Freeze by luring him into Ivy's greenhouse lair in the national park of gotham. everyone goes to jail. Batgirl and Robin are seen recuperating in the batcave and Batman starts checking on the bat computer, the name Crane comes up. Fade to batman music.

I don't want to get into a huge summary but basically Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze would be used as pawn pieces manipulated by an evil Drug lord/gangster from Columbia only known as Bane who is a giant monster thanks to Venom being pumped into his body. Robin is dating Barbara Wilson niece of Alfred, Batman wants to retire and allow Grayson to take over but he wants to start a family with Barbara. However with Bane's arrival chaos arrives in gotham with waves of criminals being released from both Arkham asylum and Blackgate prison that prove to be too much for even Batman and Robin to handle especially with Mr. Freeze, Catwoman, The Riddler, Two-Face and Ivy to deal with but with help by Gordon and the Police they are able to quell the violence eventually and they apprehend both Ivy and Freeze however Robin leaves because he sees his fiancee Barbara Wilson was killed in the riots and blames Batman for it and when Batman is at his weakest he is jumped by the evil Bane and has his back broken movie over.
I thought of this really, really fast and could work some kinks out in the story but basically that what I'd do with Batman and Robin.

Why wouldn't you just do Heart of Ice? Bane and Ivy are his creations, a result of failed experiments into plant hormone therapy. And let's borrow from Sub Zero, Batgirl is a match for his wife.
Oh, and I would make it a lot less gay.

More references to ice and/or cold. They should have put all the deleted ice references on the dvd. I would watch each and every one of them..... twice

So basically you'd end the film on an incredibly dark, depressing ending? yes. basically I see if you're going to have Bane in the movie do it right and the only time he was cool was when he let out all the criminals to overwhelm Batman and break his back. Now this also opens up for the next movie with a new Batman taking over, Grayson leaves Gotham deciding he's had enough of crimefighting and Bruce discovers a talented man named Valley to take over as Batman with his new cybernetic batsuit he is able to defeat Bane and the new Batman is hailed as a hero but he starts to show his true self and becomes to vengeful and kills some of the criminals he should apprehend Wayne finds out and realizes he must be stopped. He asks Grayson to help but he tells him he is retired, so Wayne travels all around the world to cure his back. He gets help from a mysterious man in Tibet known as Ra's Al Ghul and shows him how to heal with a trip to his Lazurus Pit. While in Gotham crime has plummeted but only of mass fear of Batman. Bruce Wayne back is 100% fixed and returns to take down Valley, which cultimates in an epic Batman vs Batman battle and Wayne is able to defeat Valley with his new youthfulness from the pit and experience and throws Valley in Blackgate Prison. The movie ends in Beijing with Al-Ghul buying a plane ticket to Gotham City, thus setting up the next movie being Batman vs. Ra's Al Ghul.

Bane gets tired of playing second banana, leaves Ivy, bitch slaps Freeze, breaks Robin's jaw so we don't have to listen to him whine, and beats up on Batman for 2 hours until a random batarang cuts his cord.

I'd cut out the begining. Have the film start with B&R chasing after Freeze Remove Bane from the film altogether Do that stuff with Barbara that Mystereo said.

Mr Freeze kills Robin near the begining of the film. Bruce Wayne starts boning Barbera Wilson and Alfred finds out. Alfred joins forces with Freeze and Poison Ivy to kill Batman. They kidnap Batman and put him on a giant circular saw with blade between Batmans legs. Batgirl calls Daily Planet and tells Clark Kent whats going on. Superman comes in and frees Batman then uses heat vision to melt Freeze. Batman sprays some of his Bat weed killer on Poison Ivey. Batgirl ties up Alfred and he is taken to Arkham Asylum where he has to share a cell with Billy Dee Williams who was sent to Arkham by Tommy Lee Jones sometime between Batman and Batman forever. Movie ends with Batgirl turning 18 and moving into Wayne manor. Superman and Batman decide to team up and call themselves Worlds Finest.

How would "Batman Forever" turn out had Tim Burton not only directed it, but still had to use the shooting script (by Janet and Lee Scott-Batchler and Akiva Goldsman) that was ultimately used? Of course this would logically mean the return of Michael Keaton as Batman, Danny Elfman's music, and Bo Welch's (the production designer for "Batman Returns") set designs. Or better yet, Burton had to use the same line-up of characters (i.e. Robin, Two-Face, Riddler, and Chase Meridian) but written by Sam Hamm and/or Daniel Waters (who did the screenplays for "Batman '89" and "Batman Returns" respectively)?
The key differences (as Michael Gough, who of course portrayed Alfred Pennyworth in the Burton-Schmuacher Bat-films, described on the "Batman Forever" special edition DVD) between Tim Burton's approach to Batman and Joel Schumacher's approach to Batman is that Burton specializes in a "psycholgical thriller" while Schumacher specializes in a "visual thriller".

-All fight scenes will be improvised, with the villains attacking random unaware bystanders in the streets and Batman and Robin running out to save them. Any profanity from the bystanders will be dubbed over with "Chill".
-Alfred turns out to have banged Bruce's mom.
-Freeze's wife's soul possesses Bane, and even talks with her voice.
-Poison Ivy's killer plants are stop-motion animated.
-Bane is entirely stop-motion animated.
-Batzarro and Nuclear Man make an appearance.
-Batgirl has to whizz Robin out of an ice block.
-Freeze uses Penguin's old duck mobile.
-The Batmobile gets hit by a shopping cart.
-Barbara sleeps with Commissioner Gordon.

I would have Batman enlist the help of Shep Ramsey, intergalactic do-gooder, to aid him in his fight against Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy.
Then in the middle of their climactic battle, Poison Ivy would explode for no reason, EXCEPT THERE IS A REASON. And when the smoke starts to clear from her explosion, Captain Freedom from The Running Man shows up to aid Mr. Freeze.
Then they all fight. Robin gets strangled by Captain Freedom, and Mr. Freeze attempts to freeze Shep, but Shep has access to anti-freeze, so he doesn't get frozen, not even a little. Then Batman and Shep vanquish their foes, and form an intergalactic pact.
Just then, as they walk back into the Shaolin Temple, Predator shows up on a giant hologram screen. He says some stuff in Predator-talk, and then the camera zooms in on Raiden from Mortal Kombat (who showed up after Robin got strangled) and Raiden's all like "I don't think so."
Roll credits.
