Natural Born Killers is an awful mess of a film. I don't know if Oliver Stone is to blame because I've never read the Tarantino stuff. But then again, two kids going on a killing spree doesn't appeal to me in any way.
Ridley Scott and Hannibal is one that comes to mind. Although you could argue that film was doomed as soon as Jodie Foster pulled out.

Killers, as a screenplay by Quentin and the overall film directed by Stone and all the performances by the cast is one of the finest movies of the 90s, and one the best in the Oliver Stone directorial catalog for its serious satiric-like message. Here's Siskel & Ebert's brief review.

I George Lucas = overrated. Not really. He is one of the best at one thing. He is a phenomenal producer. If he just stuck to that, he would generate very few complaints.
