The Leafs got beaten by the f***in' Carolina Hurricanes, 6-4. One day after they pulled that epic comeback on the Rangers. f*** you Kerry Fraser, you Leaf-hating bastard.

An update on Martin... yes Paul Martin will be out tonight with upper body soreness. Yesh this is getting bad for the Devils. Salmela will be called up instead.
No new word on Brodeur.

Weekes standing on his head to keep this scoreless. Its like 14-15 shots on him half way into the 1st.

I've probably asked this before but why bother calling the hook or trip if you call the dive too its either a dive or a hook how can it be both.

Ugh. Marty, no!
We're absolutely cursed this year. We have about as talented a Devils team as they've had in YEARS, and now we can't even have a morning skate without somebody getting injured, and our Best-In-The-World goalie has gotten the worst of it.
Well, that can only mean one thing: In Weeksie we trust, and let's get Rolston, Holik, and co. back ASAP. I think Weekes can fill in admirably, but we need this offense at 100% NOW. They're showing they're capable of scoring a lot more than they did last year, but now they're really gonna have to come through.

Jose Theodore has to be the worse goaltender in hockey. No way. That's Andre "Red Light" Racicot. He was a Habs back up goaltender that was so bad...it was incredible. I will never forget this, but the Canadiens had a game in Winnipeg against the Jets and they fired the puck from their end (around where their goalie is). The puck went down the ice.....sliding along.....and Racicot was standing in his net watching it. It slides and slides, comes closer and closer...he stands there watching it. It still slides towards him and he finally moves. He lifts his leg up to let it pass (!!!!) and it goes right into the net! It was the game winning goal. Theodore is terrible, but Racicot makes him look like the greatest goalie in history. Edit: The puck wasn't rushing either at a 100 miles an hour...but crawling along the ice.

I just had the frightening vision of the same thing happening to Carey Price.

Redlight Racicot is a name i haven't heard in ages, with good reason.Saw him play a few AHL games when i was living in Fredericton and i wasn't impressed. They had some bad goalies play there, but he was the worst.

This isn't the goal I'm talking about, but here's the awesome Red Light in action (a Winnipeg game again):

Sad news for the Devil's fans. After losing MAF for an extended time last year, I can sympathize.
