Well, it looks like Reid has a week to get his ass in gear to not get absolutely embarrassed by NY next week. They cannot play this bad next week. This should have been a blowout with how bad Minnesota has played.

How did the Vikings even make it in the playoffs? Detroit was Detroit. Chicago mailed it in on their last 3 games and GB went on a losing skid. So they won the division because everyone else sucked more. I thought they would of done better than this though. Meanwhile Philly is still hot.

Stupid crybaby QB's and their need for special rules... You are an Eagles fan......would you want a Philadelphia Eagles-Carolina Panthers NFC Championship Rematch Yes and no. Yes because I want to extract sweet revenge on them when Delhome trips and Trent Cole plows him into the ground. No because this team scares me, especially with how awful our run defense was today.

OMG, the Eagles haven't impressed me at all. Take out the Cowboys game, which is more about the Cowboys, the Eagles haven't played well the last three weeks.
I can't wait to play the Eagles, the Eagles play like this next week, they will lose. The Eagles tried to give this game away, you do that against the Giants, they will take the gift.
They played their best game against the Giants last time, the odds are not in their favor of repeating that, the Giants will play better, the Eagles will play a little worse, and the Giants / Panther rematch.
The Giants and Panthers are clearly the class of the NFC, they are the two best by a mile.

The Eagles won, but they did not show anything that shows me they are contenders. The Cardinals impressed me more than the Eagles.
But I can wait to see how the anti New York media tries to sell this game as the Eagles playing great and how the Giants don't stand a change. I can't to hear that. Never has a Super Bowl champion gotten less respect than the New York Giants.

Why does the New York media hate on the Giants? Jets win 2 games in a row against trash teams and it's all JETS SUPERBOWL OMG... Giants go pound everybody and it's " Meh, not impressive enough."Seriously, wtf

The Eagles won arguably the ugliest of the wildcard games this year.

Giants/Eagles game gets determined by:
- The Giants special teams doesn't play like the Vikings. Punting shouldn't be an issue, Feagles is still the best in the league at directional kicking, ensuring Jackson won't get an opportunity to spike the football in front of and mouth off at Tom Coughlin like he did to Childress. The issue will be on KOs, where their ranked 32nd I believe, behind the former leg of John Carney. The Eagles can't start at or around the 30-40 yard line all day.
- The Giants keep it between the tackles on the running plays and don't try to test the edges. Philly was having issues up the gut all day and Brandon Jacobs can further assist in continuing that issue. He doesn't have the speed to test the edges. Smash Jacobs early and often and soften them up for the change of pace backs. A back should be on the field at all times, even on passing downs.
- The Giants pass rush gets home. The Eagles line played well today and allowed McNabb and the Eagles subpar receiving group look a lot better than they actually are. The Jints can't allow McNabb to get comfortable.
- Someone shadows Westbrook all day and his name isn't Antonio Pierce. Pierce is what he is and what he isn't is capable of keeping up with Westbrook. He was kept in check today, but he has a nasty habit of gashing the Giants.
The inherent issue with playing a division rival is the fact that they know your tendancies, your weaknesses and are extremely familiar with everything that makes the team tick. I think the Giants have the more talented roster overall, but that won't matter next weekend.

So much for the argument that the NFC East was not the best division in the NFL this year All the teams that won this week, for the exception of the Eagles, have no chance against their next opponents, there merely here to set up the conference finals

The Vikings should have played Gus. Jackson sucks. He sucked at the begining of the year, he sucks now. His only real throw is a dump off to an RB. The Vikes made a big mistake with Gus, he is the one who turned their season around and you should always stick with who brought you to the dance.
I mean, was Gus still hurt or something?

Yeah the Giants weak point is kick off coverage, punt coverage is a strong point for them.

I have a bad feeling about Kerry Collins playing the Ravens when the game matters, but why? Oh yeah...... Doing better now.

If that Baltimore defense is flying around like it was today for the most part I seriously don't like Tennessee's chances. Hell, the first time they played early in the year when the Titans were on a roll they only won by 3.
I don't know about San Diego's chances in Pittsburgh. Sproles won't have as easy a time against that D.
